Could you either develop a specific version for Portuguese language or just add the missing characters to the patch you already developed for Hungarian, etc.?

I'm sorry, but this thai layout is too large - you can try to save it in unicode textfile and you'll see - I'm able to add characters map with is about 320kB large, this thai map has got 464kB - so you should remove some characters (you can remove even 'abcABC' and so on, if you don't need them).

Very sorry to trouble you.I found that last thai layout file I send you,some novel is crashed(5 novel).Because of some thai novel can't type directly,especially it's position is above or under other alphabet,I typing it in word(but it still disappear) then select all,copy and paste to edit plus.But some novel display as ? ? ?.

PS: On Windows Mobile Smartphone 5 there was a feature where key 1 would be a wildcard (*) and replace any letter or symbol. Very good for spaces in names and unusual situations. Is this possible in WM6 PPC?

Thank you for great job Jimm98y.It works fine.But i feel that this build of smartdialing patch hard to use.In old build,only 3 times key,i found contact i want.:D And increase RAM usage 700 kb->1237 kb.

Ok, I'll check it in the evening - but first check out if you are using the correct version - this patch will work only on 2.5.28006.

No, that's impossible without source code of smartdialing - maybe I would be able to make some program which will change the layout of smartdialing, but now I'm too busy... and yes, it is possible to change keys "1" and "0", but there's no way how to change keys like "*" and "#"

Thanks to 'amaleena' for define the first layout, but as because the layout define too big set for 9 which cause result from searching got too many items. And because Jimm98y also confirm that possible to define for 0 and 1 (which not use for Thai). So, I had done analysis about the use of set for vowel (all defined as 9) and find out the way to type much more effective, If we could request the new set of layout (only split 9 to be 0,1 and 9).

What are those key for 0 and 1 ? (for your example, I don't need but may be the rest).

I don't know if there is some version of dialer for wm5 with this build of smartdialing, but this version is made only for wm6, so please DON'T USE IT ON WM5. But if you have a link to this version of smartdialer for wm5, you can send it to me and I'll take a look at it...

hi,
i really appriciate your patched smart dialing which you did for the hebrew, it's very helpful. one thing though, whenever it finds a matching letter then it colours the letter and flips the letter to the end of the word, in other words - it takes the first letter in the word (in hebrew it's the most right one) and throws it to the most left. so what you get while looking for a contact is a messed-up name, although the search itself in recognizing the hebrew letters is good. i tried tweaking the registry settings of the smart dialing with no luck, so it's probably in the smartdialing dll file itself. is there a way you can fix it please?

Jimm98y, just in case no-one has told you lately, you are the man!

Whats the chance of either creating a custom skin for the dialer or giving instructions on how to? Saw a cool iphon-ish skin that looks like an old payphone, I'd like to mess with.

Also, I'm on the Vista dialer on a HTC Wizard with the stock T-mobile release plus some tweaks if that makes any difference.

I installed this on my Sprint HTC Touch and the original dialer still comes up. The only difference is that when I press the action key when I choose a name via smart dialing, instead of dialing (acting like the Dial key), it goes to that screen where it shows last time I call this person, etc.

Anyone else got this working on the HTC Touch?
