Builded a version with Pandora. Seems fine... no problems yet.
Didn't test bluetooth and connections.
Will test it for a while...

In original version there's no Windows Live link (although Windows Live is in the ROM), Office only Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

Im not sure if its the antenna but im getting an averagae of about 860k in the text.dslreports.com speedtest where i used to get about 400k before, pretty fast. It also works fine with the flashvideo bundle and theres no lag when playing videos on the real youtube site. I had an issue w/ cooked ros some werent able to work w/ the flashbundle using TCPMP. And as previously mentioned, the MSN version is the newer one that doesnt sync your contacts to your phone, nice. This ROM would be great w/out all the unecessary at&t extras like mobitv, xm radio etc.

what player are you using for youtube? i have core player installed on my sd. I tried putting youtube video address in it and it says wrong media. when i just try to open from the youtube site my realplayer opens and says the same thing.Thanx

For some reason this ROM won't let me assign more than 4 buttons. All that shows up when I try to assign MS voice command is the messag button, the camera button, and the internet button, and the comm manager? Anybody else having this problem?

that will prevent the settings and cabs from being installed, but the files still exist in the windows folder - and can't be deleted.

Can someone rip the new version of XM Radio and MobiTV from this ROM and post the files? I don't think it is necessary to make a cab file (there are no registry entries needed in the older versions of these apps).

Would it also be possible for you to put the setacousticparm into this as well???? I am running it on another rom, and it "DOES" seem to work....louder.......and I should know..... I wear hearing aids and can even hear it in my worst ear.......without using them......... So it Does seem to work...... You should also bake in the Set Autogain Cab to CC.....


I've used several of your roms and am GLAD you are handling AT&T's water.......

I would first read the Wiki on how to safly install ROM's! Install HardSPL FIRST before anything!! after that you can flash any ROM you please to your 8525

i tried your rom without the radio and now my phone don't connect any more to 3G
i re flashed the radio and went to my older rom and the same my phone don't connect to 3g

i have bad filling that my phone is fucked i change to other radios and roms official and the same problem
did you checked your rom prior publishing??

re flashed to shipped russian wm5 with the original radio - and then got the 3G back
i think this rom changed some parameter that the 3G network orange Israel don't connects to the phone
may by it some ATT stuff that is specified to USA network only

You've been around near as long as me so you know this is indeed wierd my friend!

Will complete testing of Austinsync's latest tomorrow (it needed some tweaking) and will post in a new thread by mid day hopefully. So far I'm most impressed with the speed and stability.

i flushed the Fan_Key rom and i have the G and the H networks working
(the problem i had is indeed weird never seen this phenomena before)
the new build is fast and stable i am impressed much better than 3.60 rom

Internet connection is slow on this one its probably because of 3G only vs. HSPDA. If I enable or install the HSPDA patch will it help or is it the radio?

Performance is sluggish maybe I need to patch it with a 4 meg cache.

This installed fine but I can't get Goodlink 4.9.3 to work with it. After it installs it keeps asking me to enter a password and it doesn't accept the right password :( going back to WM5 :(

need more info..... In any case... reflash your ROM if you can, but this time remove your SD Mem card from the phone. It should work.

Ok, I'm having problems trying to use the SD card flashing method.

I'm using Herm Radio 1.43.00.00 and it gets stuck at maybe 10-12%.

My battery is fully charged, and I had Black Majik & Faria's rom on there previously.

Anyone know how to fix this?

I've upgraded from 3.60a to 4.00.
Everything works fines. It searches the carrier for about 1 second and then it connects to the network (so much faster than with radio 1.48). ( the carrier is ANCEL from Uruguay GSM 900/1800. The phone is set to use GSM and AUTO).

I noticed that the battery drains much faster with this rom. I have to charge it daily!

Any tweak that works to help saving battery?
