was looking for a local corporate store and found they have the Kaiser/tilt available to all customers now. Ordered mine with a two year upgrade for $250 (after $100 mail in rebate and $200 instant rebate). You can't complain at that since the 8525 was still $400 with two year a month ago.

How did you get $250 when the site shows $299.99?

You might want to talk to retention if your contract is up. (866-907-3480). I just ordered mine for $199.99 with overnight s&h (fee waived).

Was that before or after the rebates?

What did you tell them to get that deal?

Thanks!!

I talked to them (AT&T) today.

Quick situation. Bought an 8525 on September 20th, 2007. Bought from Wirefly.com as it was $70 cheaper than AT&T with a 2-year plan extension.

Thought the tilt would be delayed until later. Anyhow, just checked that I can get a full refund from Wirefly. That's a go with two thumbs up so no complaints there. (Typically a 30-day satisfaction or exchange guarantee with AT&T and other authorized AT&T phone providers).

However, no Tilt's in stock out here in Las Vegas, NV at the bricks and mortar store. The on-line customer service guys for AT&T said I can't order the 8925 / Tilt without an "upgrade reversal". Sounds like a crock of crap to me. But he tells me the bricks and mortar store should have no problems.

Would like a Tilt and fend off product obsolescence. (Paid $329 and about $350 total with tax for the 8525 brand new.) They say $399 for the Kaiser / 8925 / Tilt on a two-year service renewal...

Any of you guys with ideas here on how to manage this situation or any recommendations or suggestions to get my Tilt order in ASAP?

Sincerely,

~cj

The online price was $499. a two year contract upgrade provided a $100 and a $50 instant rebate, I paid $349 and have a further two $50 mail in rebates to process on delivery for a $249 deal.

my contract was month to month, having not renewed it in over two years. I got free shipping as well. What is retention? I did my order thru the online website online, never spoke to anyone.
