There is a ghost in the Rom..

Yeah, also 4 me... if I have some other applications opened then TomTom won't start :( I'm thinking to put back the fast and stable 2.2.2 Ke :p

I installed HARDSPL1.30 olipro and LASAGNA 3 KE FULL, but the Radio wont install. I tryed with both 1.46.00.11 and 1.50.08.11. The procedure always completes withour errors. but after restart if i go into device properties i STILL read Radio: 1.38.00.11 which is my original one.

How can i fix this and upgrade my radio?!?

After installing succesfully Lasagna Full in my 3600 TIM Branded, I've repeated this operation in my brother's one facing a very strange problem.
It's a TIM branded just like mine. So I proceeded in the following way:

1) Flashed the Original HTC WM5 ROM (no brand)
2) Flashed the Olipro 1.20
3) Flashed the Radio 1.46
4) Flashed Lasagna 3 Full

Everything goes fine until the system boot again with the Eclipse Image, then comes the Guybrush image, and after that the screen becomes completely white.
I was waiting for the black & white image of the skull, but it didn't come out.
Ok. Strange, but the system keeps going until ask to allign the screen ecc.
At the end I have the PDA with the black line at the top with START, the 3G, The Battery and all the rest. But the rest of the screen is white and corrupted. Most of the functions doesn't work at all.

This happens exactly the same with WM6 Elias' Elegance cooked rom or the Lasagna 2.2.

But as soon as I restore the original WM 5 everything works fine.

It's a real mistery.

Install olipro 1.30 and flash roms directly from bootloader

after you install olipro 1.30 press and hold camera+power then do a softreset , now you are in a multicolor screen with a yellow word "olipro 1.30" now flash your roms and forget blank white screen :-)

no downgrade or change spl need...simply lunch the upgrade from WM5\6...dont lunch directly from bootloader...

this because if you lunch upgrade from wm5\6 you use only for this upgrade the sspl ds inclusded in radio upgrade...after upgrade you have new radio and olipro 1.30 remain

I'm testing other rom, but I prefer only the lasagna!
I hope Guy's return with a new rom, with:
touch flo installed
new theme
new software htc (as htc skin calculator)
without battery problem

I'd like to know if this rom project is dead or we can expect a new version of Lasagna. There are some bugs reported from many users like battery drain problem and personally I'm driving crazy with CallID problem. I'm currently trying to reflash the rom with no 3rd parts software installations to see if something changes... I've to softreset my device a lot of times in a day.

Seems like Guybrush doesn't look at this forum anymore... nor he gives answers about his work. I'd like to know if this is because he's busy with something else and we can expect him to return or he decided to drop his project. I'll be gratefull if Guybrush (or someone else) can clarify this. In any way I wish Guybrush best things and I'll eventually miss his work.


PS: I've noticed just now my CallID problem gets in with no other software installation and only basic rom settings which are the same since lasagna 2. :mad:

Sorry I'm a newbie about flashing roms and so on, maybe this is a dumb question but....
I'm trying to flash my Kaiser rom (english version) with the latest Lasagna KE full.
I've installed HardSPL then tried with lasagna, but got this message "error 244 invalid model id" then the update manager close.
I dont know why, my model id in the settings\device information calls about Kaiser.
Anyone have a clue

I went abroad and my operator name didn't change (TIM Italy in UK? eheeh), so I searched and found here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=333505&page=2) a solution..
To enable the correct names change:
HKLM/Software/OEM/PhoneSetting/Enable3GLongNamePrefix=1
HKLM/Software/OEM/RIL/ShowSPNOnly=0
HKLM/Software/OEM/RIL/ShowSPN=0

By the way, I think it's a similar solution: is it possible to make P3600 compatible with italian service "Tim Casa"? It need 128k sim card: when I am in my neighbourhood, the operator name should be "TIM CASA" instead only "TIM" and I can call with a good discount. It's ok on my Nokia N70, Sim tool kit send a message to the net and "change" itself the operator name. Is it possible also in Windows Mobile? When I try to force that change with STK menu, it tell me "Aggiornamento effettuato" ("Update success") but nothing happens :(

I solved that installing lasagna ke classic and then put the software in windows folder from lasagna ke full.

I don't think it's touch flo, i removed it manually and the problem was still there. I also installed Action screen (and no touch-flo) on the original dopod ROM, and i had the problem also in that case.
So, we can assume that Acion screen is the ghost....... Guy, can you make some tests?

By the way, now i'm using Lasagna 2, much better :)

action screen work perfectly, but the battery drain problem live on my device, battery status give me information about cpu usage and i can say is not stable the same for the battery usage, so i downgrade to ke 3 classic,that is without action screen, and it give me stable 88mA

To test whether an application is running not just the taskmanager of WM6 I use one provided with Memmaid, very precise for what concerns the memory used and for this we can say that ActionScreen is released immediately after its use and it abides opened in the background.
For battery life, as it is a subjective matter, what you mean by enough?
I, for the use of PDA that I have never gone over the day, and this with any PDA I owned, even with the S200 that consume very little. In non-working days, however we do at most Saturday and Sunday (date to 30%) and then reloading the evening.

Per verificare se un applicazione è in funzione non basta il taskmanager di WM6: io uso quello fornito con Memmaid, molto preciso anche per quello che riguarda la memoria impiegata; per questo ti posso dire che ActionScreen viene rilasciato immediatamente dopo il suo utilizzo e non rimane aperto in background.

Io, per l'uso che faccio del PDA non sono mai andato oltre la giornata, e questo con nessun PDA che ho posseduto; nemmeno con l'S200 che consumava veramente poco. Nei giorni non lavorativi comunque ci faccio al massimo sabato e domenica (arrivo al 30%) e poi la sera ricarico.

Hi all, i've just flashed my trinity with the Lasagna rom.
i found it's the best rom ever!
Only one problem: no matter how i try, i can't Sync via USB.
Note that internet sharing works flawlessy.
With "advanced connection" enabled, trinity and my pc can actually comunicate, green disc spinning pops up but it keeps spinning for a long time, ending with a connection error. In the meantime, i can browse trinity thru explorer.
If i disable "advanced connecton", it simply gives me a "error 608".

I checked my firewll rules and they are ok. Also i have reinstalled AS 4.5, with no result. I don't see whatever can i do...

The strange is that the first update go well without bootloader modification (I use the default).

La cosa strana è che l'update iniziale alla ROM KE 3.05 me l'ha fatta senza installare bootloader "modificati" il problema l'ho avuto con il secondo aggiornamento ed ora non mi porta a compimento neanche la flashata dei bootloader olipro.
Non ho usato alcun CID unlocker perchè se non ho capito male quello serve per chi li ha sim locked ed il mio è unlock.
Anche con l'hard reset ovviamente non risolvo xche ricarica la rom corrotta.

To test whether an application is running not just the taskmanager of WM6 I use one provided with Memmaid, very precise for what concerns the memory used and for this we can say that ActionScreen is released immediately after its use and it abides opened in the background.
For battery life, as it is a subjective matter, what you mean by enough?
I, for the use of PDA that I have never gone over the day, and this with any PDA I owned, even with the S200 that consume very little. In non-working days, however we do at most Saturday and Sunday (date to 30%) and then reloading the evening.

I can just say that now, with original rom, the PDA last 3 days without problem, and i use wireless connection, bluetooth, and as phone at least 1 hour a day. Before, not using it this way, but trying to limit the pda activity, in one day the battery was completely over.

Just some updated info.
Damn, today, as soon as i set the profile with vibrate and sound the battery started to suck power, in 4 hours to 100% to 30%. As i always use such profile i'm starting to think there is something related with battery problem. Anyone noticed it?

There must be something wrong with your PDA, there is no other explanation.
I do not go beyond the day when working conditions are: 7 hours push, writing mail, at least 2 hours of phone calls, at least 30 SMS received, and sometimes even a video while in the office I go by train.

Yes, i completely removed touch flo. And now i'm using the original rom with 1.38 radio. And the battery problem stated again as soon as i enabled vibration in the pda. :(

Today I mess all up.

first) I installed HTC Cube and HTC Touch Flo from other release in this forum, the cube was spinning (with Cube Ctrl) and all was perfect but I just unchecked the Contact tab in HTC Home today Plugin to have no duplicates for rapid contact.

Today I get rid of the cube (it is slow and completely useless!! just crap!!) but when I checkd again the Contacts voice for HTCHome the Contacts tab didn't come up again. Pleeease help me! How can I have my rapid contacts again in HTCHome today plugin?

second) I messed up with registry voice for Windows Live Messeger: simply I couldn't connect to the server so I get rid of all the registry keys in LOCAL MACHINE SOFTWARE MICROSOFT WINDOWS LIVE.
Never do that my friends. Now Messenger won't startup again and Widnows Live fails contacts synchronization. Please anyone could send me (shaice on gmail.com) a registry backup of this registry keys?

I had a hard reset right now. Some days ago I just messed up with HTC CUbe and new TouchFlow.

Now I'm returned at the Lasagna KE FULL factory settings and the system is slower than before.

I suspect, as said by Guybrush, that the clue is in the touch flow.

Now I'm searching the latest version, with more bug fixes to compare the speed.

Keep tuned.

PS: I think this affect also the CPU Usage. If you want to disable the FTouchFlo just delete the file \Windows\Esecuzione Automatica\FTouchFlo
don't mind about the backup there is another copy in \Windows\ (the shortcut not the exe itself!!)

about the battery drain..

I've tested. full charge from early morning.
all day with direct push, connected via umts/hspda. About 1/2 hour of voice call, 20 emails, and 15 minutes of music radio streaming. at the evening battery is at 10/20%

with this usage I have tested a day with the ftouchflo ON an a day without it. I'have not feel great difference of battery usage.

may be x-button is the killer?

qualcuno ha risolto il bug relativo alla percentuale di cpu usata nella versione full 3.05 anche se i programmi vengono chiusi? io accendendolo parto da un 48%, successivamente utilizzando e chiudendo i programmi con la x però la percentuale non scende sotto il 66 - 67%

I have a problem with my bluetooth headphones :(
With Lasagna 3 FULL my BT headphones did not work well!!! When I press play... the sound is not fluent. Work for a few second and stop for other few seconds... and again work and stop.... whit my last ROM (original WM5) they work very well. How can i do for solve this problem?
( i have already installed the putch for headphone BT)

The buttons on BT headphone work well, then it is a audio problem.

I tried to install the Lasagna but I've a problem. In the "Today/Oggi" page I can't see only a white background without the HTC home plugin. I see only 3 icons but non labels.
An other proble there is with Task Manager, if I tried to open this clicking on the icon in the upper bar a blank window is open and no icon appear.
Can anyone help me?

(Ciao, ho provato ad installare sia la ROM Lasagna che la Fly e con entrambe ho avuto lo stesso problema. Prima di tutto nella procedura iniziale di inizializzazione dove ti fa fare la prova di un "Taglia" e "Incolla" sull'agenda mi viene uno sfondo bianco e non si vede l'immagine dell'agenda che dovrebbe esserci sotto.
Quando finisci la configurazione iniziale e va alla pagina di "Avvio" vedo solo uno sfondo bianco, e non posso cambiare l'immagine quindi non si vedono le scritte dei componenti tipo "Attività" "Appuntamenti" e quant'altro è possibile configurare. Non mi appare poi la parte dell'htc Home plugin con orologio e le altre schermate. Non funziona nemmeno il task manager e se premo il simbolo in alto a destra per aprire la finestra mi compare un riquadro vuoto.
Potete aiutarmi? Qualcuno ha già avuto esperienza simile?

Ho appena installato, la procedura tutto ok, ma appena avvio ho un sacco di problemi grafici, il sistema è inchiodato, ho provato a cambiare temi, a riflashare, nulla di nulla.
Il today non si vede, le tastiere aggiuntive bloccano il tel appena provo ad aprirle...

I've just installed, and i have a lot of graphic errors, and the phone is extremely slow... What's the problem?

Ho appena installato, la procedura tutto ok, ma appena avvio ho un sacco di problemi grafici, il sistema è inchiodato, ho provato a cambiare temi, a riflashare, nulla di nulla.
Il today non si vede, le tastiere aggiuntive bloccano il tel appena provo ad aprirle...

Anche io ho usato olipro 1.20, nessun problema riscontrato..tutto funziona perfettamente!

No, it isn' t a lasagna problem.
It's "white screen" problem.

Questa procedura non è frutto del mio sacco ma di Brain81 su forum di pocketpcitalia;

questo succede xke hai olipro 1.20, hai residui di roms vecchie e almeno 1 bad sector nella flash...per risolvere ssegui alla lettera queste istruzioni:

1 scaricati l'utility mtty e tienila a portata di mano, poi scarica e installati olipro 1.30

2 vai nelle opzioni di activesynch e togli la spunta da consenti connessioni usb

3_ora entra nel bootloader tenendo premuti i tasti power e fotocamera e fai un softreset, entrerai nella schermata tricolore targata olipro 1.30 da ora non riavviare mai ne pc ne palmare!!!

4_ora lancia MTTY e seleziona porta usb e velocita 115200, appare una schermata bianca premi invio e ti appare la scritta CMD> ora scrivi task 28 e premi invio (questo formattera a basso livello il palmare)ora chiudi mtty e lancia l'upgrade della roms

fatto... vedrai che non avrai piu la schermata bianca ne le icone incasinate ne altri problemi

puoi ripristinare la rom originale scaricata dal sito www.pocketdevice.it (previo registrazione)

I've installed the 1.0... I try with the 0.8 version.

The 0.8b version works fine... but the 1.0 that I've on the old wm5 is better :-)

The menu on the 0.8 is not user friendly and the navigation is slow.
The 1.0 have a tab navigation and is not necessary to deactivate the plug-in before apply the changes.

Problem is that i'm using other softwares which works with gestures and they simply don't work because gesture is wrapped by the other sw, which is at a lower level i think... so here i am..

When using icons without labels it's possible to dock icons one next to the other or leave a space multiple of 0.5 icon width. But I would like something like 0.25 icon width to better use the desktop without cramp it too much.

First of all thanks for great ROM! I have just an issue (and I searched the forum for a while without success) with SMS autocompletion for recipient number /name lookup.

I need this tip: how can i disable/remove the application called "Phone Call Log Version: 2.0.7.8" which pops-up after a missed call on today screen.

With xp it was running nicely, but since i installed Vista Ultimante i was never able to sync it.

Did you try erviu's new rom? there is the cube included and at time it's the fastest and more stable. Lasagna was the best I tried but it's a lot now that guybrush (unfortunately) don't update with new builds..
I give you a link of a rom I think you' ll appreciate.

i have a big problem i have istall lasagna 3 last week on my pda...today the pda is block everry time and after soft reset it don't work very well, is vert slow and the screen is not regular.

ragazzi ho flashato il pda(un p3600) la settimana scorsa oggi nn so pèerchè ma il pda si blocca in continuazione, nn si riesce certe volte nenache ad arrivare alla pagina iniziale del wm6...sullo scehrmo compaiono tanti puntini...cosa devo fare?
