the real one as discussed in many threads is CE OS 5.2.1921 Build 18521.0.7.0, the latter one is a fake hex edited to show new build :eek:

So,if I'm understanging correclty...changing from v19 to v20 will only change the way the version is displayed, right?:confused:

Hello I have installed this rom so far so good but the weather does not get updated. I have notice that bepe's and lasagna do get updated. The only other way to get this updated is to connect through a computer.

oohh i found 2. part and installed,but there is no MSN an such applications..What is the best rom.?

The weather updates fine on mine. The rapidshare link is a complete file. Downloaded MSN from micro$oft.

The only glitch I have found is when you use ROM settings and change the connection manager NOT to use the new settings, the connections page is corrupt. Everything else seems good.

Well was good, after a reboot I cannot get GPRS, etc to connect

hi friends i am not recommend this rom,Because no updating weater.There is no MSN,there is no Internet explorer in the program menu .Very boring ROM.You can not change any think like how you want to configure .And when you switch on pda you are watching 1 hour advert of PDVIET.

I must say, normally i am the greatest fan of PDAVIET ROMS but this one seems rushed and not realy wrth the upgrade, damn shame! so i wont be flashing this one :(.
I cant wait for a better ROM from you guys.

Had tested all roms released within the past couple of days, all roms are great, time and effort put in making the roms is highly appreciated, BUT a fair conclusion to be shared with everyone, this rom is the fastest, stability is noticed in all roms. If anyone is disputing my conclusion goahead and conduct a small test; holds d-pod in down direction while browsing the start menu, the program menu, IE, settings, file explorers...etc, you will notice the speed of the highlighted bar moving down :cool:

just wanted to share it with the community,,,

(-) things, branding in the welcomeahead and the dial skin is not so appealing :rolleyes:

Any idea why is it happening?

The missing IE icon in program menu is common from the previous few PDAViet release.

If you select the program to be listed in the Start menu, the shortcut will be remove from the program menu (Move from Windows/Start Menu/program to Windows/Start Menu)

I just copy the link back to program menu for it to appear again.

I do not have any problem with this ROM other than this. It's fast and lean.

Thought I encounter this problem in both original ROM and PDAviet when I was installing Opera Mini. Never get the chance to try Opera mini due to this problem.

I installed Intent MIDlet Intent MIDlet Manager 11.1.7.1036 (http://www.webalice.it/risidoro/intent/Risidoro_Intent_MIDlet_Manager_11.1.7.1036.cab) from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=327456 and works like a charm

I just upgraded ROM v3.00.07.18 to this. Everything working fine. Weather is able to update. IE is in the menus.

Yes MSN is not there. Proberly I will install myself.

Some of the noticeable changes from the last version includes having a
1) black Phonepad keyboard similar to Bepe version.
2) HTC taskbar had been removed and replaced with PDP pBar
3) removal of Oxios Hibernate

Yes! The ROM is very fast. maybe for now.. cos I gonna install lots of stuff on it which will slow it down quite abit.
