for some of us, we prefer a SUPER LITE rom with just the base stuffs (no HTC Home, no Network Wizards, no Windows Live, no MS Office, no Task-Switchers/X-buttons..etc), and we install them as and when we need.

plus, we have the option to remove them because it's not cooked into the ROM!

there are so many flavours now, just not sure which to choose.
i'm not even sure if i should stick with Dopod ones or take the AT&Ts but soft-reset before customisation starts...

can anyone confirm or deny whether or not streaming media works with this ROM? For example... will this ROM play youtube videos?

Fun_key and Shaminix ROMs both have streaming video issues....

Hi Binky11 and congrats on what seems a very good and fast ROM.

One suggestion though: since you want to make a "clean" rom, why are you adding stuff to it (like HOME, HTC Audio Manager etc).

Can you make a version with NOTHING in it? Just a functional WM6 fast ROM with loads of free storage/ram space for us to install anything we fancy on top?

I'm not a huge fan of HTC Home, it takes too much precious screen space, and makes the phone a bit slower even if it is disabled, plus it takes yet more memory to store its files...

Also the comm.manager with 3G enable/disable button would be useful too.

Removing OEM games was a good step forward, adding the rest was a step backwards as far as the "clean"ness is concerned :)

Installed V 1.1 one issue....when calling a number form contacts there is only the number not the name shown...the other all ok...except the common issu of 3.62 ROM an incompatibility with the SPB Phone shell, the GSM provider name not shown...thx for the excellent ROM :D

I tried 1.3 but still had a couple of problems: no ring tones (already mentioned above) and when changing phone settings, after clicking OK, the settings will not close. Shame. Reverted back to duttythroy's ultra lite Touch I. This is based on the 3.60 ROM but I really like it's "lightness".

Hi zhanif, this last error is the same. When the phone doesn't find any ring tone, the system doesn't close the settings window.

The ROM works fine, I try this at this moment, waiting the 1.4 ;-)

was just going to ask the same thing...

i'm gonna have to stick with "1.1 + games" unless anyone can point me to a working cab for games. (every cab i have tried doesnt work.)

and i think it would be too much to ask blinky to do two releases, one with games, one without, just for the niche people that want the games cause they wont work via cab.

I like a lite rom that I can add just what I want!(which this rom is good example of), but every light rom has the games missing(which is good cause it saves space, but for me i need the games for public transport.)

I tried to make a big storage 3.62 rom . . . and I failed miserably. I hope you are more successful than I was. If you are able to make a 3.62 bigstorage os.nb (and xip) could you please post them seperately so we could cook our own rom using a kitchen?

Hi there I cannot select any ringtone...just the three that are located in /My documents...but if I put for example Oldphone.arm in this folder still cannot select it...but Phonealarm can see all the WM6 rings...

I guess there must be technical reasons for this, but i thot maybe I'll ask here.. why is it that program memory in these ROMs are usually 48.77Mb?

since Storage could be increased (emptied from Ext.Rom?), can't some of these spare Rams be made available to increase Program Memory instead?

I need more Program Memory because after running a couple of new Window Tabs in Opera Mobile, my available Program memory could go very low! like 3-4Mb!! (upon softreset, its usually arnd 22-23Mb)

hey binky. have your roms the .rgu files needed to cook using hypercore? or you just delete them to free up space? if they are left out. maybe you could up a version of your rom including the .rgu files needed for cooking. The .rgu files only use 200kb aprox.

Thanks for the nice lite ROM.

1) Can't find soft-key applet.
2) 3G Switch in Comm Messenger would be nice
4) I accidentally turned on Beam in Comm messenger (I never use it) and couldn't turn it off. Soft and hard reset didn't help. Changed registry value to disable Beam at all - problem solved!
3) Can you add ClearType fix for Landscape
4) I could live w/o that splash screen. I use minimalistic allblack theme

Can you post list of fixes what are being installed? Is ATIFix one of them

I have been holding off any update until now. Install your v1.5 with Radio 1.54. After using for 2 hours, no problem observe, with the new Radio ROM, I have stronger signal than before. Thank you for a great rom.

I will do more testing tonight, in particular, I will like to see how Tomtom perform with your new ROM.

I also need this, just got stuck in a bad situation where i required my internet sharing only to find it wasn't there. Did the same thing you did but the zip didn't work. I think the zip is missing ipnat.dll, hence it never aquires an ip address?

Anyway can anyone provide a working cab installer for Internet Sharing?

i cant assign functions to my soft keys now, other than that great rom :)
