[ROM][ITA,WWE]udK 6.1 R1 Lizard WM6 Full&Lite (OS 5.2.1933 Build 18533.0.7.0)

First off, i appreciate for udk making such a good rom which is almost fullfil my needs, i've tried pretty many experts' cooked Roms herethanks
Bugs were found on my Device DopodD810 with udk6.1 R1 Lizard WM6 Full

1. As i have 2 sim cards-Smaartone Vodafone & Peoples, and personally switch in use sometimes for my need, i found there is no problem connecting to the internet while using Smartone, but Peoples only works when it goes on EDGE, then fails to GPRS(somebody why?)
2. For the button which below the wheel, it sometimes doesn't work fine.
3. On the top of the Screen, there should be 3G, E icons shown, and reception status right next, the problem is while connecting to the internet when clicking the 3G, H, E icons, you can see there is time counting which is definitely good utility, but i guess in this 6.1 R1 fails with this function, so i go back to just 6.1, then it's all good....
4. Message error, when i go for message box, i cannot Open and even Reply.
5. New Menu, SMS, MMS, E-mail, so on...i found Only SMS comes error, the rest of those are good to go.....
What i need to know is Why the Peoples has to be connected with EDGE, not GPRS, before then, i got a Rom_Big Black_1.3 which was never happened like this, i believe some of you may know which Rom i am talking about...ok

Just you simply re-install the Rom Upgrade again, then everything will be fine...

Common problem. What works for me is deleting the whole HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Bluetooth\A2DP key.

I am not sure if this was reported before, but task manager does not close comm manager properly, and you have to go running programs and close it manually. And I think this is couseing memory leakage, because the memory usage increases after every time I use comm manager???

Try using SPB Plus!

within many utilities, its' task manager actually closes everything ;)

Well, I was impatient to see this ROM fixed. I decided to patch udK 6.1 R1 myself using another XIP since it seems that udK will not have a comeback.
My 1st attempt was made using ROM Donalds kitchen, quite simple, thank you bennec83 ;) There was an annoying problem: the programs menu was flickering. I used it for about a week and saw that it was stable besides this tiny bug.
I then decided to use another kitchen. I took bepe’s one and programs modified by ervius. The second build with the old XIP does not have the flicker anymore and is quite stable. I do not lose my WMC partnership or BT pairing. I tested it several times by rebooting after a normal shut down and just reboot via stylus without shutting down by press and holding on power button. It seems to be ok.
I do not release it for the moment, since this ROM is udK’s work and I could not do it without his permission. The point is to let you to know that all the problems about forgetting some settings (mail, password, partnership, etc) come from the xip and once it’s replaced everything goes fine. I think this is the most stable and best tuned WM6 ROM I tried on my Trinity :)

I've recovered the device flashing a previous original HTC Wm5 rom and it worked :D
Tried to flash some other Wm6 updates (Bepe, Karmba) and they worked fine...
Tried again with UDK 6 and UDK 6.1 full ita it again got same error....
(after the error, it suggests me to do the recovery removing the battery to gain correct debug mode, then it always stops at same point).

Today had enough troubles with flashing.... Tomorrow I will try with mtty from SD.

I took the times to test your ROM UDK, it works like a charm no doubt, no problem at all, smooth, with space, no conflicts, no weird bugs, its very nice.
I sent you a Donation, i wish you continue your works for us :)

The only difficulty is when GPS is enable, its eating like hell the battery, however Tomtom is very re-active and find my location very quickly if i compare with others ROM. The price of this performance is the battery.
When you're in a car, its no big deal because you can charge in same times ; however when you just walk and you take Tomtom as a Walkman, this could be a problem :)

Hi there, I just flashed through the pages of this topic and COULD NOT find the link to the new ROM! Could somebody replicate it for me? WWE is fine.

udk I noticed that when I tried to flash the previous version (today) it was the first time that I got an update going bad. :eek:

So I had to put up a TUGA light, not to stay all day without phone. (TUGA is fine, but doesn't work well with Skype, so I had to move back to WWE...) :o

I could not even try it out before the new one is ready.

P.S.: I never succeed on wired flashing, always have to do SD flashing.

Besides this can I ask you a favour?
My wife has a P3600 too but she doesn't want to flash it, coz of the warranty (I explained it's safe but she wants to avoid any risk).
I know it's not nice to ask you this, but could be possible to have your coloured HTC home plugin from your ROM (.cab file)?
For us it's the nicer one, we don't like the STD grey HTC Home?
