View Full Version : Error Message Installing TomTom GPS Software

I received my AT&T Tilt this morning, and promptly flashed the HTC stock rom after doing the CID-unlock.

When I ran the TomTom install floating around RapidShare, I get an error message on my device that says the rom version is incorrect and that I should update to the correct version.

I am experienced with flashing my Wizard, so I know the flash worked. Any help appreciated.

I'm getting the same error message. Is there another version of TomTom that has to be installed on the device?

Had the same error with the kaiser-specific TT 6.032 (for built-in GPS)

Installed TT 6.030 (had that version on my wizard) and that worked fine. Set the GPS to 'Other NMEA', baudrate to 4800 and port: COM4.

TT6.030 and 6.032 only differ in the built-in GPS option afaik. There's a TotTom thread for the kaiser on the forums here somewhere, shouldn't be too hart to find. This issue is explained there very well.
