hey guys..
ok i spend the last 5 hours reading thru all the posts and threads here.
i got a t-mobile mda compact ii phone. and before i want to play around with it id like to backup my rom.
so i tryied with the mtty tool connect and backup the rom with the "d2s". soon i found out its "r2sd" for my phone. just to hang myself at the next problem where i got the info i got not enough permission to access the files. (perm level 6).
so i searched and found the hermes bootloader pdf. i tryed to hax myself thru with it but ended up with following problem:
i downloaded the new AKU2 rom from tmobile to get the ROMUpgraeUt.exe tool. But, this one is completle different to the hermesupdate (cause i downloaded and tryied that before). here there is only one dll and its named "RUUResource.dll". course im not that big nerd to hoax myself thru the new dll to find the password string and debugg it out while im trying to flash my phone with the new rom.
you see, i really got a problem here. and im desperate to backup before actually freak around with my phone...
