I used my wizard until the battery was fully discharged (I navigated and the plug was disconnected). Now it doesn't wake up. I removed the battery and placed it back while the AC charger was connected and while not connected and even tried hard reset but nothing works.

Any ideas?

As far as I understand once that is done the battery is a lost cause. Everything that I have read says this to be true with these batteries. Once they reach a certain part there is no turning back except for the "jump starting" threads I have seen.

Do a search.

Your battery's not shot, you just have to jumpstart it. Take a 9v battery and some wire (wire bread ties work if you don't have any spare wire layin around) and connect the + from the 9v to the + of the battery and the - to the -. Only do it for 10 seconds though then remove the connections for 10 seconds and then do it again. Do this about 8 to 10 times and then pop the battery back in to the wizard and connect it to the wall charger and you should be able to charge from there.

These are lithium battery's Be very careful. Can start a really good fire. I wouldn't do what Xeno said. Even if it might work.

Just buy a new battery Cost 10 bucks on ebay.

Search google for lithium battery fire.

Sometimes these batterys will bubble out.

That's why you only hold it there for 10 seconds at a time. This method has been tested and worked many times and to me it seems to be a lot safer than the "cut up a USB cable" method that you see posted on here quite a bit.
