Just got Wing ..NEED HELP !!

ok so im new to this game..ive been reading the threads and posts over and over and over again...so ive got a brand new unit so i should have to install any RUU...so i make sure im a guest in active sync..i download the RAR file for touchflo on my computer..i drag the ASerg Policies.CAB file from a folder into my Wing folder named Storage Device..run the program..then i soft reset...then from my computer i run 1_RomUpdate.bat or whatever...the Dos prompt comes up..its says press any key I do..then it makes a list of all these files and after each file it says (for example "ce_run,exe is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. ...after that i hard reset like im supposed to...for some reason it just goes back to the regular Wing interface...can someone help me out..please...i got the phone a couple hours ago and i cant put it down until i figure this out LOL..its driving me nuts:confused:

Hard Reset then redo. Or put it back to the original RUU deal then try it again.

It's not seeing the files that it calls for within that batch file. Where do you have your files stored?

what rom are you trying to flash?
I know with PDAVIET you have to aserg twice and soft reset after each.
Also, IT IS IMPERATIVE that you flash over an RUU.

as far as "ivanmmj's" comment goes..lets see where am i stashing the files..after it opens up using WINRAR i just use the directory right from WINRAR im not actually moving the files onto my hard drive....

I am was trying to install the ITOUCH FINAL V2 blah blah blah...

I installed the 5 button setup and the overclocking program with the battery indicator..

i got everything to work that just involves moving CAB files over..obviously a simple thing that doenst need a page long thread to explain how to install..

I still need help..im following directions but like ivanmmj said its not reading the files ..still need help LOL

There's your problem. You need to unrar the files to a directory. Then open a command prompt and run the batch file from that directory.
