I didn't try it with the AT&T ROM but with HTC ROM, it will ask if you want to configure the data settings for Tmobile as soon as it detects the Tmobile SIM card.

It's significantly faster if you use the internet3 vpn apn.

I'm curious...does anyone see speed differences with "use software compression
use ip header compression. " enabled or disabled? Seems the same to me.

oh i was referring the slow internet to the tmobiles $5.99 plan...

i know they have a $20 a month plan for the smart phones, obviously that one better be fast for that kind of price....

unlimited data plan should work w/ the base settings.. from the settings wizard.

I used to have the unlimited data plan.... IT was always slow for me, same as tzones, but for the price......
I'd pay the money for speed.

tmobiles data connection sucks...but if u have an unlocked att tilt an uur using tmobile service like me...u need 2 use this connnection setup wizard to configure ur att tilt for tmobiles data connection. I personally won't pay for internet, especially tmobiles shitty edge internet for 29.99 unlimited plan...I use wifi religiously and its way faster then edge..and free. Wireless in my house is connected to a cable modem and it is quick.

...anywayz here u go

Exactly what does this file do? i have a tilt and using t-mobile 5.99 tzones plan. and some applications don't work, for instance dashwire will not connect on my phone, unless i use wi-fi.

I cannot get email to download after installing this cab (tmobyjoe599.cab). It is certainly faster but it messed up my modem setting. I can still download from my Exchange thru the internet setting but not Gmail or my personal email accounts. How do you configure the modem to download emails again?

thx

to moegdaog; first off the full data plan for tmobile including hotspots is 19.99 (was changed like a year ago). however, in most areas, the 5.99 tzones plan (with a lil modification) works perfectly on any phone. im using the 5.99 plan on my tilt, and i've yet ran into any webpage i cant visit. im posting this from my tilt right now on that plan!

to the other guys who cant get the email to work. im assuming you cant get it to work with the tzones settings, right? if so, you have to go into the email options page, keep pushing next till u see advanced server settings. click on it, and change network conection to tmobile data. do that for every email account u have. good luck
