Hi there,

Someone knows how to localize the TouchPal keyboard?

Regards,

Taguapire.

But why even bother with that?

You can use this keyboard from www.fingertouchpro.com that is much better and supports English, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian or even Greek, and you can also define your own languages.

I think it's clear what you should use ;)

I think if I read one more post pushing fingertouchpro this morning, I am going to puke.

I agree. Anyway, regardless of it's functionality I wouldn't use it because it looks disgusting. So they can post as much as they like, they won't sway me! :D

Mate, you don't need any software on your device - a nice looking artwork set as background would be more then you need. So judging the looks is not enough for let's say (the least) - a competent opinion.

Ad-posts are not good - but everybody does them. Why? Because marketing is part of everyday life. Even the tea you drink is because of some marketing campaign.

So your preferences in matter of keyboards are questionable. They are just a measure of the advertising you've consumed.

Bottom line, use FTPRO, is better ;)

1. TouchPal was not brought to my attention through any kind of advertising.
2. I chose to use TouchPal after trying many, many different SIPs as I found it fitted my needs the best
3. I don't drink tea ;)

Oh and...if I'm persuaded by the type of advertising I see, then I would never touch the one you're pushing on people...

I doubt this is true. It's not like you've seen a shop next to your house, selling touchpal. You've seen it somewhere, and that's advertising. Actually looking arround this forum I see it everywhere ;)

Unfortunatelly it seems some of your choices where excluded randomly or on skin criteria. BTW, I need to inform you at this point that the skins are usually something that you can change.

3. I don't drink tea ;)

Oh that's not a problem, I'm sure you got the idea.

This might be true, but usually to change this only takes more effort, to that point where even your friends tell you what you need to use.

This is getting to a philosophical level, so I'll stop now :)

Please do! Jees, I'm not usually one to get in an argument but you don't half force your product on people. I'm completely entitled to my opinion, and I don't want to use your keyboard..what's the problem?
Anyway, all I can say is you've guaranteed yourself one less customer, so congratulations ;)
