Sorry for this late, it was to get some improvments, and i choosed today because it is the first day of our celebrating days, feel free to congratulate.

Intro:



After the successes with our last TNT versions, i worked on the newest build 5.2.1921 which is more better than any previous build. and with this new build also i fixed some other major issues on the WM 6.0 for wizard. In addition, i found new ideas to try to cover the most users needs, the details below.

This build done using the drivers as modules, like the official releases.


The new fix this time is VoIP issue with the builds came after 5.2.318, if you setup your VoIP account and call the sound will pass through the internal speaker instead of external speaker (as usual), and finally this has been fixed, this is in addition of the previous issues which has been fixed (wait, we just found something new about this thing, read this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1580313&postcount=54)



- When you call someone and he didn't answer you get connected instead of call ended.

- When you call a busy number also you will get connected instead of busy

- When you have GPRS Connected and someone called you and you didn't answer this calling will shown as recieved call instead of missed

- When you have a call and recieve a call (waiting) and you didn't answer, this calling will shown as recieved call instead of missed.

- When you open start/settings/Phone then directly press ok button, your personal tone will change to the default

- Some of roms have the issue with cannot open the wifi from the first time

- When you change the notification to vibration, then change it again to ring mode, the device still on vibration till you play your ring again or change your ring

- some roms can't start the wifi directly

- MMS 4.2.8.1 sounds and files pluging error (if you right click on the file don't show send via MMS)






Base Rom:

5.2.1921 build 18521.0.7.0 (real porting by me)

OS: 11.0.0.0 << this is for TNT roms, so the next release will be 11.0.0.1 and so on.

Editions:

too many users asked me to create a rom with adding the touch scrolling, and also others asked me to have more stuff in the TouchFLO edition, what i did for them!!! i create a rom with all professional+HTC home stuff with Touch scrolling feature without the cube, and the cube you can add it manually by an Add On (tested for 4 days and very very well). And all other editions don't include any of Touch stuff or driver. So, we have some new edits on the choices, you have to read carefully to know which version is suitable for you.



Vanilla Edition:

nothing, just the base rom and OEM drivers;

no camera, no MMS, no WML, no Office... etc

so don't ask for the kitchen, just extract official build using Core kitchen then use the SYS folder and OEM packages from this, then add whatever you want.

Yes, v2.5 of PIMBackup is in the Professional rom, so I'm sure its in the others (pretty much just like 1437 and TNT5.0 roms).

Just flashed the official rom, it is very very fast i am surprised, my windows folder takes barely a second of lag to open. THANKS!!

I will flash this once I get home in a few hours and report back if this works correctly on the Cingular/AT&T network. The Loon 7.0 OS318 is the only one that does so far (aka phone wakes up to take calls/SMS) I sure hope this one does as I love the TNT series...

I want to try this ROM but don't want all the addons (some of them, but not all) so I have extracted it in an attempt to remove the stuff I don't want and add the stuff I do.
When I run the Package tool it tells me LOTS (well ALL of them) of .rgu (registry) files are missing. My assumption is these were compressed into a single file and then removed. Is this the case or have I missed something :confused:

I don't want to use the Vanilla or Official releases since there isn't enough in them as a base, plus I don't want to use the Professional or TouchFLO versions are there is just too much in there.

i just got the tnt 1437 version for my wizard and this is the first time i ever loaded something to my wizard and it was soooooooooooooooooooooooooo greatttttt and all the features i could never imagine my wizard had that much capability before i had some t mobile thingy on it and now im downloading this version and im sure it will be much greater also the speed was sooo much faster than my previous wm5
just one question th previous 1437 had written G4 safe so this liek that also? i used the mun process for uploading the rom by using the shell application thingy so can i use that to get this on my wizard too and wil it be g4 safe? thanxx again .

As long as the Rom doesn't contain any IPL/SPL,it's a G4 safe rom,therefore,this Rom is perfectly upgradable to any G4 device :)

I will flash this once I get home in a few hours and report back if this works correctly on the Cingular/AT&T network. The Loon 7.0 OS318 is the only one that does so far (aka phone wakes up to take calls/SMS) I sure hope this one does as I love the TNT series...

For all roms after 318 on the Cingular/AT&T network, you have to run the 2.19 UK radio from T-Mobile (or an earlier version) since my WM6 Radio fix doesn't work on the newer roms. All radios after 2.19 UK will have missed calls and SMS. To be honest I haven't tested that on this rom yet, but I'm assuming it will be the same way as it was on TNT 5 and 1437 (I'll test it tonight, can't afford to test it today). While the 2.19 UK radio doesn't have fantastic reception like some of the newer radios, it just works in all cases that I've seen with WM6 (so is a safe choice).

BTW: I'm running the Professional version since last night. So far its working just fine.

I havent seen this msg since the ingenetics rom. The only time I've ever seen this msg is when I flashed a rom that contained MS dogfood remains.

Well, since this is the build I've been waiting on, I couldn't do anything with it before now since it was just released :D. Its Right and I have been talking, so I'll work on a new version of XM6 (probably based on this after I test it out more, but so far this appears to be a great base) in the future... Unfortunately, my job is leaving me very little time to do extra stuff due to a major upgrade we are rolling out. Supposed to be done around the end of November, so you won't be seeing a lot of me until after then (unless things let up for some reason).

there is no radio rom n this one, i talked about new radio driver, but this one makes some major issues after testing. So, the radio driver is the same as TNT.1437.

we talked about this on previous builds, make sure for your restored data, and check the time zone tab on start/settings/phone and remove the aotumatic update tick. it worked for who has this problem.

why you are setting up your settings manualy, check network wizard in connections will do it for you (in case of your nework in included)

this the first think about the issue, it is because the restored data, and i'm sure you have not this issue after you switched to this edition (because i think you did a new backup from the fixed data).

Arggg.. okay coming back here was a mistake heh.. its been a long ass time since I messed with my phone (pre dates wm6 for the wizard, back when wm5 cooking was the thing)... I will give this a shot and a few other roms I am looking at a try as well, just got a new laptop.. may as well mess with the phone at the same time.

The new fix this time is VoIP issue with the builds came after 5.2.318, if you setup your VoIP account and call the sound will pass through the internal speaker instead of external speaker (as usual), and finally this has been fixed, this is in addition of the previous issues which has been fixed

i just checked this (i can't wait to test till tomorrow), and you are right the issue is back which shows me the real problem i did, i told in previous thread (TNT news) i used a new radio driver, but after some more tests i found some issues with it.

so now i can tell the problem not only from the base rom, it also from the radio driver (rilgsm.dll).

the bad thing here, any of system drivers can't be changed while the device is running, so the VoIP users they need the sound through the external speaker must wait to recook and uploading, so many thanks for this report my brother, and don't worry the fixed version will be available very soon.

Not sure why, but when I ran network wizard and selected att it did not put the gprs line in correctly under the Media Net settings. I had to put it in manually to get data connection and MMS to work.

On my mda...consistantly every time I do a full backup or restore manually using pim backup..when I exit the program the cpu is pegged at 100% making everything sluggish...a soft reset fixes the problem.

Strangely the nightly automated backups and partial backups/restores usually do NOT cause this issue.

NB. when voip was first noticed on wizard I did have it working, although at that time I had to create a VOIP.cab to install from a XML file. Speaker issue put me off thereafter though.

I am pretty sure this isn't the latest MS Voice Command. It seems to be an older version with some BT configuration files thrown in. The dates on the files look recent and when it's running it says 'v1.6.17913', however I think this is just an older version that has been hacked and some additional files added (BT Configuration).
I have version 1.60.4622.0 and this seems much newer - files have version tabs and digital signatures.

Well first of all, I love the rom, it is fast, and working great.
Voip through the internal speaker would be a great addon. If you need me to test, give a yell.

edit: to be clear, voip is working, but the sound comes from the rear speaker at the moment. So the speaker which is on the side just next to the (volume up and down) slide. If I'm correct you are saying that with the fix you've got we will be able to actually use voip with the speaker wich is on the front of the wizard, just above the touch screen. This would be great!!!

A strange problem happens when I use either TNT.1921 or TNT.1437.
When the phone is idle for a period of time, incoming calls will only wake up the phone but doesn't ring (It goes straight to voice mailbox). That makes me miss lots of calls.

And my i.Tech Clip S Bluetooth handsfree also doesn't work (However this happens to all ROMs >= 5.2.1437, not only TNT related), it pairs correctly, the A2DP icon is shown, however no sound can be heard from handsfree.

First of all i must sorry for my bad english.

I am a novice to this flashing stuff but i really wanted to have this rom of yours.

The only experience i had was when i flashed the official i-mate rom to my wizard.

Now i tried to flash TNT rom (TouchFLO) and it crashed at 99% with an error at my host PC that was saying ERROR 302.

I tried over and over, and i can't do it. So i flashed again with my older rom from i-mate and it is alive again.....

Can someone help me?????? I really wanted this TNT ROM...

I forgot to tell: my wizard was bought unlocked directly to i-mate, so is not locked to any network. And i think i have a G3 model because the numbers are 2.16

SIM unlocked is not CID unlock. To flash custom ROM what you need is CID unlock.
Go to the Wizard Upgrade section and follow the sticky tutorial (Remember to lower your IPL and SPL before unlock)

Has anyone else tried A2DP on 1921 yet?
I can pair, headset and wireless stereo. When I try to connect and use WMP or HTC player, audio still come from the Wizard instead of the headphones. Motorola S9's.
I can use the S9's on my PC and was also able to use them on 1437 and every other TNT release.
I am running Professional.

UPDATE: I had previously paired my S9s with the wife's DASH and that was the reason I was having problems. Argh!

Yes but people on cingular are having missed call issues and normally running 2.19....I'm on tmobile and 2.69.11 gives much better edge performance speeds.

I finally have VoiP working and there is a lot of echo with it coming through the speaker, so I am looking forward to any fix that can solve this.

What sent me astray was that the htc home display doesnt show my VOIP, but when I go to the phone it does. It would be cool if the htc home network display changed.

Thank you for cooking these roms. I've tried several on my late 2005 build Wizard and the Touchflo version is the first that works for POP over GPRS. All the other WM6s I've tried say can't synchronize because no connection available even though the exact same settings as on WM5. In any case the one complaint I have about this ROM and its not too big a problem is that Wifi always takes two goes to get it to switch on. Attempt one it tries for a bit and then displays the Wifi aerial icon with no waves. I have to turn it off and then turn it back on again and then its ok. Not too inconvenient but I would love it if someone had a fix. I know others have had this problem but I can't see any solutions.

I've been using the .1921 official rom for about 2 days and I can not find a single bad thing to say about it (and trust me I looked). It is extremely fast even after I installed all my cabs and I am using an overclocked Wizard. Wifi and B/T work flawlessly. Im not gonna be changin this rom for a while....or at least until your next one comes out it's right ;)

Gladly. Official and TouchFlo with 10MB pagepool will be up tonight, Vanilla when its right uploads the fixed version. Keep in mind, higher page pool = less available device storage and ram but will give you a faster OS.

Installed TNT.1921_Wizard_Official and it's great!

Also installed Voice speed dial CVSD_for_WM6_v1.2_build_61226_1.cab, cant live with out it, running good.

BT and WIFI no problems.

Modified it to 12 MB PP with WST_v4.2.1, and WOW it's fast!, of course available space is less.

Loaded couple of programs I made and worked with out a hitch (vs2005 with .net 2.0 and SQLCE)

Nice and clean, as close to an official Rom that migth come originally loaded on a device.

In file explorer, go to Windows/Startup and delete init_tray, btIO, DrYar(if there) and then soft-reset. Icons should be gone after that.

I am using an HTC Wizard (Tmobile MDA). Will this ROM work on this device? I have attemted to install twice. THe installer gets to 99% and then crashes. I have reinstalled the TMobile ROM and verified that the device is working properly.

Please advise and thank you for the efforts.

how do you mean crash. It takes another couple of minutes when the installer is on 99%, the bar gets red, and then just wait maybe even 10 minutes.

its right: One thing that I like the most about your ROMs is that you were able to fix the busy/missed calls related bugs, which no other ROM has fixed (It doesn't matter to me whether you fixed it by deducing things or by sheer brute force, its enough for me that you have fixed it).

I have found one serious problem(at least it is serious to me). I cannot install WeatherPanel and use it. I install it and it tells me that the layout files are invalid but they are the default layout files and I have been using this same WeatherPanel cab file since I started and no problems until now. This is the first time I have experienced this.

I have tried installing it to main memory and also to storage card. I have tried unpacking the cab and replacing the default theme with chameleon. I have tried installing and then soft-resetting and even copying everything to the storage card while still installed on main memory. I also tried just adding the chameleon skin in the themes directory next to the default and still nothing.

I am using the TNT.1921 TouchFlo with 10Mb page pool and I will post the cab file if anyone wants to see if they can find a way to fix it.

This series of ROMs are great when they work. However, after a few reboots, they ALWAYS stay frozen on the 3rd splash screen. I always end up having to hard reset. Anybody know how to make this stop? I'm running a G3-unlocked 8125 with IPL/SPL 2.26. This is so frustrating!

Actually, oddly enough, after un-installing WeatherPanel and re-installing it several times, it still gave me the error message but this time it showed that there were themes installed so I was able to get the chameleon theme imported and working and now have WeatherPanel again.

To answer your question I am using the unlimited trial WeatherPanel with the moon auth mentioned in a previous post on page 2. I have been for some time now.

I must say however that I am disappointed with the stability of this Rom. There are quite a few minor but very annoying glitches I found like the wallpaper distorting or the today settings not updating until soft-reset. I am going to revert back to TNT.1437 tonight because of these glitches. Maybe some day I will put 1921 back on my Wizard but for now it is just too unstable for my tastes...

I've had the rom installed for about 3 days. Only problem I am having is that the rom will hang/freeze most of the times after 10-20 seconds later it will start responding again. Some times I have to reset the rom because it would completely freeze.

Second problem is that in the middle of using it the screen will just go blank and this has happened to me about 4 times in 3 days. Only way to bring the picture back is by sliding the keyboard out and switching it to landscape and that will fix it. Or if I reset the device it fixes it.

I have a Tmobile MDA with 2.26 IPL/SPL and 2.25 GSM. I have installed PocketCm and HTC Home Customizer. So I don't think any these apps should hang the phone.

Maybe the new drivers are acting up? I have noticed most of the time I would experience these problems when the WIFI or GPRS is connected.

Rom is really fast and works great other than the problems mentioned above.

You may need to flash an official ROM from one of the carriers first to make sure you have a good extended rom. If the extended rom is corrupted you may see horrible battery life. I charge every night but for the most part could go 2 days before I really need to charge.

no issues with this... i guess typical flash down to button, then tmo, then this to see if it is still there.

only two issues for me at the stupid clock resetting to feb 06 and midnight after a soft reset sometimes, doesn't seem very constant... and it did freeze up in a call tonight for the first time (couldn't end or use start menu, locked up, but voice still active). these have both happened sometimes with other builds, so i don't really attribute them to this one.

im pulling apart the official one right now and repacking to my liking, but ill go down to button first to see if the problems go away...

other than that, this is my new base... just amazing with speed, file managing, reliability, and all the little things... now i gotta figure out how to change the locale in the build, PIA for us west coasters :)

I've been running the touch version for 3 days now and have noticed a few glitches but nothing that would keep me from running the rom. I like it a lot. Its very fast and what I would consider stable for a windows Mobile Phone. I am NOT using the cube and do not have it installed.

My device is a unlocked G4 Cingular branded 8125
Ipl and Spl are 2.25.0001
Radio Rom is the 2.19 UK version.

I have installed PocketCM, VoiceCommand, Call Firewall, and ShapeServices IM+ and thats about it.

Ok, My "Glitches"
On 1 occasion now I've had the HTC Today plugin just go to a white backgroud and none of the message or missed calls buttons worked. Soft reset and all is fine. I have had a few times where the phone would hang for a few seconds but i've had that will all roms wm5 or 6, just means the phone is busy so that does not worry me as if I wait for 20 seconds or so it starts working fine. That "lockup" situation i described above is not a Common thing, just every once in awhile. I really think that is just the device trying to keep up with the 20 apps i'm running lol. The one thing that buggs me the most is that my alarms are acting up again. I use my phone as one of my alarms to get up in the morning and I set them last night and had nothing this morning. I just soft reset it and will see if I get the alarm in the morning. Again, I have had this problem with multiple roms in the past and don't think its specific to this rom, just one of my "quirks"

I NEVER use the wireless card on my phone so cant give any insight on that part of the device.
The battery life on this rom has been the same in my opinion as all others. I get about 2 days life out of it. Less if I spend all day on the net rather than getting any real work done.
I have not tried it with my bluetooth headphones yet "Have not mowed the yard yet" will let you know if it works ok but i'm sure it will be fine.

Overall this has been a GREAT rom. I recommend it to anyone wanting a good WM6 rom that has a lot of great features and is FAST.

the same here, working on a german MDA (3.08 and 2.69.11). The only build without that issue is 15.2.318 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=320159). But the latest versions are much faster and better equipped, I'd love to use them.

Additionally I cant process a Radio downgrade since i have got a G4-Model. As i have read there are a lot of people with the same problem, even in this thread, any SUGGESTIONS how to tackle that???

(p.s. 2.69.11 has been reported to have a much better reception and in addition a lower power consumption, i think it is worth to use it)

I think you can downgrade radio on the CID locked G4... You just *must not* flash IPL/SPL. But the radio should be safe.
Most of WM6 builds have problems with other radios than 2.19.11 ... I do not think there is any other fix for the build 1921...

Check if you have selected:

Start\settings\connections\bluetooth\mode\make this device visible to other devices. (this need to be on before you receive files).

Another option: Turn device visible using btIO ->you found this utility down to right in your device desktop. Press the bluetooth icon for 2 seconds and see the menu. hope to resolve your problems.

Just installed the newest Touchflo TNT rom and found out that the icons on the today's launcher interface does not have the cube since it is bein added into the rom via a cab file. How can I add the cube icon to the launcher interface of make changes to the icons to repalce it with the cube. The current launcher program has the following icons:

* comm manager
* programs
* alt screen - landscape or portrait
* device lock
* calc lite
* IE
* windows live messenger
* PPC restart icon
* event countdown

Great ROM, but I have found one big problem:

After installing SPB Insight the device needs a lot more time to boot.

Without SPB Insight: ca. 1 minute
With SPB Insight: ca 3 !!! minutes.

Even though I deinstalled SPB the booting time still remains at 3 minutes. After a hard reset everything is fine again...until you install SPB Insight again.

It is the only programm which I installed after the HR. So I´m sure that SPB is responsible for that problem...

Can anybody confirm that?

This is quite possibly one of my favorite ROMS. I upped my page pool to 12MB using the Wizard Service Tool and overclocked to 273MHz using battery status and this ROM screams! When scrolling up and down a page in IE it is very responsive when using the 4-way button. No mysterious hangs or anything of that nature going on. I don't use HTC home, but I am greatly pleased that Agile Messenger, Skype, and Battery Status consistently show up on the Today screen. I have had several ROMs in the past where they won't appear after a soft reset unless you go into settings and open the Today Screen items and then tap OK.



I ran into one issue where BTVoiceCommand didn't work (or may I wasn't using it correctly). I managed to perform a workaround by going to \\\HKLM\Software\OEM\Voice Command\ and set the VoiceCmdEnable key to 1.

Other than getting the occasional can not execute rellpog.exe or calnot.exe on boot up this rocks.

I could be wrong about this, but I think I remember reading that if you disable bluetooth FTP, then you are able to store pictures to your SD card. To do this, go to start --> settings --> connections --> bluetooth then FTP tab, and there should be a radio box or check button there to enable/disable bluetooth ftp.

then i reinstalled the radio 2.69 [farias RUU], reflashed the TNT rom & now everything is ok
no more missed calls...

I have yet to install SPB Insight but I ALWAYS install SPB Pocket Plus, SPB Weather and SPB Diary on my PDA regardless of the ROM I'm running. an I have exactly the same problem... I dont know how to fix it... but luckily I did not have to soft reset the device a lot since installing TNT.1921

I also had this problem on XM6r3... On XM6r3 I also had it that sometimes it just did not startup at all... came to the last splash screen and if you let the keypad illumitation die, it would not hae started up at all... and I aslo found this to be the SPB software becuase it worked fin after HW reset till the SPB software packages was installed..

I also suffered from the Bluetooth file transfer which people cannot send files to my Wizard. In the Advanced Config app which comes bundles with this ROM i did tick the Enable OBEX check box and changed my BT name. Saved the setting and restarted and still no luck. Then I went into the registry and manually searched the key HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Obex\IsEnabled which was still set to 0 despite the checkbox of Advanced Config having the boxed Checked. After manually changing the value from 0 to 1 and soft reset BT File/Contact/Calendar transfer is working.

Freezing Problem

I have also found the ROM to freeze from time to time, this mainly happens to my device while connected to ActiveSync. No biggy, just left it for about a minute and everything was running again.

Strangely enough (for me at least) the Screen alignment problem is back... re-aligned my screen about 6 times since I've done the update... (Strange I had not had this problem since running mUn's aRTM)

Nope... Just noticed it on (when Keyboard is closed) the right hand side (eg. impossible to use a scroll bar) but the rest of the screen is in perfect alignment. also comes right for a while after allignment has been done.

This kind of stuff me around when using the PIM keyboard aswell, keys such as =, Backspace, ] and right arrow always does the action to the left of it. from keys such as o,l,.,i,k everything is working again.

just noticed this after about a day and a half of use. only other issue is that the phone has locked up a few times, very inconsistent, but happens maybe 1/4 of the time and doesnt matter if its a long call or not. also, the clock has still been resetting on me during reboots. other than these issues, best rom iv e flashed. amazed at the performance, definitely feels like a new build :) hopefully the vanilla will be up... i want to see if i can get these issues to go away with some cooking...

I had used SPB PocketPlus only on past TNT Roms until this slow boot process issue came up.
Add that single installation to the list of apps that slow the boot time.
Since TNT 5.0, I have switch to iLauncher and do not have a slow boot problme as I did with SPB.
It's Right indicated that it is something SPB needs to address.

My problem with the TCPMP player. It may be a mistake, but it seems to me that there is a conflict with the system.

I only have conflict with the MP4 files that the version TNT4 reproduced without problems. Please try to review the case of some bug?

ok..i downloaded professional realise and i flashed my device. After flashing i saw that htc home plugin is missing than i downloaded new file (professional with htc home). When i run XP upgrade util the system is telling me that i dont have connection with my device. sync is runing and everything is synced. I tryed everything but i cant upgrade from professional to professional+htc home. I dont know why??? Maybe i am missing something?

BTW, SPB Backup does not affect boot time.

Try to do a soft reset on the device and also a restart on the pc. This ussually restores the comm issues on windows xp that may have been caused by previous upgrade.

try downgrade to a wm5 version (the best ideia is back for your orignal operator rom) and then flash the new tnt.

I flashed to this rom last week, and i must say: it looks great! I do have one or two issues...

When i tap the message icon on the today plugin, it opens the message folder almost without a delay. When i use the hardware button (which i made to open textmessages via settings / buttons) however, it takes quite a bit longer: I get a loading icon first. Is there a different shortcut in there? Can this be speeded up?

I had quite some missed textmessages with radio 2.25.11 (t-mobile - i think dutch). I changed the radiorom now to 2.19NL. Are there any more people having issues with missed txts / calls? what radio is recommended?

Is there any way in which the weather function in the home plugin changes day automatically? I am not constantly connected to internet, and update the weather via activesync or wifi when available. This renders the weather plugin rather useless, cause it stays on the day i ran the update for the last time...

couple of things i noticed with my phone was when i had bluetooth activated and then tried shutting it off it didnt want to shutoff till i reset the unit..

also i get this weird error when its trying to do a calendar notification... it says something like cannot find calnote.exe or something like that if i see it again ill let you know

Set the connection to use the Tzones data connection and the media buffer to 25s. At lease that worked for me.

Try flashing the rom firts with T-Mobile 2.26 ROM, this will fix any error and them flash again with TNT-ROM.

just installed the 1921 ROM... the wifi shut off after sometimes (a messages comes ..no active session..and softwares are set to on demnad connectivity)..

i wanted to turnoff the "HTC auto off wifi".. i looked into power management of wireless LAN..but the option is not there.. then i looked into registry and found

"HTCAutoOffwifi"...set to 20000..............how can i disable this auto off wifi feature ???

I just had to reflash the rom.

I updated the radio to 2.69 because of the battery drain i experienced with 2.19, but i was not able to boot my device after that. It never made it past the second bootscreen... I reflashed the original dutch tmobile rom first to get a decent radio again, now installing all my programs etc again. I hope the original radio combined with this rom will finally work as it should...

why is this rom using like 4-5 megs more than tnt5 ? and what or if I can do anything to get more ram, disable things etc, I'm using professinal and it starts with 25mb with 6mb pagepool...I don't have anything extra loaded on startup that eats ram.

I noticed inserting my sd card will take 2mb from mem isn't this too much? any tweaks to reduce that?
Ok I found that reducing file system cache with advanced config solves my problem. Just need a couple more tweaks for ram so I can load these pdf books with my fav pdf viewer.

Bug report: The esmertec adon has a problem? <unknown> for all strings in app, localization file I guess. The latest dated version. The regional setting is eng australian by default on the rom I think maybe related.

I had the same problem with the 1437 build a week ago or so, did a reflash and it worked again like a charm. Today it happened again, so i decided to update to 1921 (Prof.+HTC-Home), lets see what happends

As usual you've done a great job... But i have a quirky issue

When i go to messaging i am able to use the D-Pad only one to navigate. if i open a message and close it i am unable to go up or down using d-pad. it kinda freezes up.. i close messaging in task manager and it works again but alas only once.

I have eventually created a kitchen around the Vanilla, it started well......
I built a ROM but ran into the usual problems of getting the files needed for the various Media Packages (all the codecs etc). Eventually sorted this but now the things just too big. I am now trawling through the files seeing what I can safely remove (not much unfortunately :( ....).
Anyway to take my mind off trying to sort this bit out I thought I would test the VoIP. I extracted the VoIP files from the 'Professional ROM' and added the registry entries. Well yes it works better all the ROMs after 5.2.318 as you can hear the audio through the speakers (I realise its through the stereo speakers and not the phone speaker). However the quality is bad - it is 'crackly' and breaks up :(
I have just re-flashed with my 'good' 5.2.318 ROM and the quality is back as before.

Are these the issues that have already been identified, or is this something new?

It's right is working on the voip issues as far as I know. He had them working when he was using another radio driver, but this one was giving other problems. I think he is going to rlease a new update of this rom with voip working through the phone speakers.

I flashed this rom (touchFLO) some days ago and it's been great so far. But since today I have a very annoying problem: Windows Live keeps asking to sign in, over and over again. It doesn't matter whether I sign in or cancel, it just keeps on asking. I bassically can't do very much on my phone right now, because everytime this window keeps appearing. I'm not shure wheter it's a problem with this rom or just a WL problem, but I hope someone knows a solution!

Edit: I found the solution already! The problem was the date of the phone was 2 years back in time...

OK, I have done some more testing and I think the voice quality issue was my fault.... :rolleyes:

I have two Wizards (I managed to get one on fleabay really cheap :) ). Anyway I have two Wireless SSID's - one for valid authenticated users and an open one. The open one uses a different IP subnet and is restricted to 64kbps inbound with a QoS service policy on the internet router. There are no restrictions on the authenticated one.
For testing I used my everyday Wizard running 5.2.318 which was associating with the authenticated wireless SSID and the 'test' Wizard that was associating with the open SSID. When I tried VoIP on my everyday Wizard the voice quality was OK, on the test Wizard it wasn't. I realised the issue after posting earlier and looked on the router logs and the 'drops' counter was incrementing.......

So, sorry my fault there. However the audio still comes from the stereo speakers, is this what It's Right fixed and then un-fixed with the radio drivers?


Just to add as well, this is by far the fastest ROM I have used so far. Well done It's Right.

Hi guys! Im quite happy with this ROM. Can any one post the TNT CUBE.CAB, newest TNT TASK MANAGER and the latest MS VOICE COMMAND here in xda-developers instead of rapidshare? (or at least provide another mirror to download it)

:D What carrier are you with? If T-Mobile and using T-Zones, that's a pain. That is my situation. I disabled the HTC Today home and replaced it with SPB Mobile shell. With that, I can get my weather automaitcally downloading using T-Zones. Hope this helps.

the latset build doesn't contain radio update, it is just a driver in the OS, more details please :)

i built all TNT series depending on the latest builds, so the users have many choices, just switch to the most stable for you :)

All with new relase work fine, but I have no cellular signal... (cero, dont find cellular network).

It is possible that I am doing something wrong, but all your versions have given me excellent result.

I tried the new release with the new voip fix but to no avail. Sadly the sound is still coming out of the external speaker.

A pity as this would be ideal.

Does anyone know if the Skype app has the same problem ?

ADB100 reported this is has audioble sound (not loud as before) but it is very nice to get this louder sound, can you hear clearly!! if yes so this is what we are looking for, if not so we have another choice which is to use the oldest driver which have many and many of issues, i will keep looking for something interstead don't worry ;)

I tested both the new and the old rilgsm.dll driver and the volume on both is the same, or at least I couldn't tell any difference. Both are still routed through the stereo speakers though.
The good thing is though is it is usable, unlike any of the other drivers after the original 5.2.318 (pre..)release. If we can get a driver that routes the VoIP audio the same as the GSM audio then that would be fantastic, however for the time being this is usable. Plus L2TP/IPSec VPN works a treat as well :)
If only we could get the original Remote Desktop Mobile from 5.2.1921 included in the ROM.....

I've tried this ROM since its release, its good, but i found it slower and requiring more resets than you version 5.0, so i'm going back to that ;)

I just read that the SDHO is software driven, (32 bit) and it is not hardware. Will this ROM support 4 gig SDHO cards since it is 6.0

I have installed the

Great so far couple problems though

1. almost every time i got to send a txt message i keep getting phone not ready wait 15 sec try again if i go to com manager and turn phone on and off and same with date stream works fine

2. when phone goes to sleep it reverts to vibrate . of course missed calls a lot

3. the new one date [new VoIP 19/Oct/2007] TNT.1921 Series (Official/Professional/TouchFLO) 5.2.1921 is the radio also updated on touchflo and what version is the radio

Just wondering if people are experiencing better reception with the new Radio Driver (assuming that's what it does...) esp with users in Canada.

Running TouchFlo w/ 6mb PP and GSM2.19.11 but I sometimes lose reception out of the blue even though I'm outside. Reception comes back after I disable/re-enable Phone mode.


On another note, I can't seem to get Voice Command to announce the incoming callers. Anybody else having this problem?

Anyone have any luck with BT Voice Command? I've enabled the application and can't seem to make it work. I'm using the Touchflo release.

After researching other threads I've tried several reghacks to see if I could get it to work.

I've attempted to set the Path from \Program Files\Bluetooth Voice Command\BTVCBasic.exe to BTVoiceCommand.exe and I've also tried changing the Path key to \Program Files\Voice Command\voicecmd.exe

The strange thing is I can use File Explorer and go into \Program Files\Bluetooth Voice Command\ and execute any file there and get voice command over my headset. Unfortunately I can't execute any of these programs from the headset by pressing the answer/hangup button.

In the last 1921 release I was able to get this to work through the reghacks I described above. Has anyone else experienced this?

WIFI is one of the most neglected thing on wizard forums for some reason..

your problem can be because of 2 reasons

A- Your cant connect to wifi even while standing with 90% signals..thats authetication problem or signals fluctuating very high.

B- Wizard has poor authentication ability when signals are below 40-45% in strength. it usually requires signal 70% to get any ip from router/wifi source.


1- can u connect to wifi while standing closest to the wifi source(router etc)?

if you cannot first you have to set source setting and wizard settings to OPEN with no password . Then see if it connects or not? IF you cannot connect at all then you have to sort out this problem first.

if you can connect while standing close but not while standing with less than 50% signal strength then thats a bit of hopless issue of wizard.. wizard is B/G capable but only works on B frequency..it will not get any ip while on G network..G is just a showoff if you want straight answer...use B/G mix router/wifi source

Thanks for the explanation. In fact, there are 2 networks available, and the signal strength is the same for both, so it tries to connect to my neighbour's instead of mine every other time... Isn't there a way to "forbid" my neighbour's network???

AND also, is there a way to set the finger scroll speed? It was much smoother and quicker in my previous Rom (NBD)

OK, first, patience is appreciated: I'm a newb.

I am running TNT Professional Edition + HTC Home on my HTC Wizard (Cingular 8125) with
i/spl = 3.08
gsm = 2.69.11
os = 11.0.0.0

I've got an SD card and run all possible extra games/apps off of the card.

Memory looks like this:

Storage -

Total = 47.46
In use = 17.04
Free = 30.42

Program -

Total = 49.95
In use = 29.03
Free = 20.92

I LOVE this version of TNT, and would hate to have to get rid of it, but the speed issue is becoming a problem.

After getting up and running, I noticed right away that start-up was SLOW - it can take anywhere from 2+ minutes to boot up (spends most of the time sitting on "Professional Windows Mobile 6.0" screen). Are there any alterations/tweaks/etc. that I can make to speed up the startup process? Especially when I'm in a hurry and my phone freezes requireing a reboot, this can be a PITA.

Once I had all my programs, etc., installed and had time to play around with the phone, I realized that every process I try to do is slow - opening contacts or phone, browsing the web, opening programs/games/etc. The actual programs themselves are also slow. When typing in word or notes or whatever, it takes a minute for the text to show onscreen, selecting items or clicking on 'menu' or whatnot it always takes a minute to realize what I've done and show it onscreen.

SO what gives? Why is this particular ROM so slow all around? I've tried a few other ROMS and not had a problem like this before - maybe one or two things might be slow, but this is everything! Help!

As an aside, how do I make it so it doesn't ask me if I'd "like to view the pictures on (my) storage card now?" when I startup my phone?

So, to sum it up:

1) Slow start-up
2) Slow progs, processes, etc.
3) Make the pic/storage card message go away

Thanks a mil, any help at all is mega-appreciated. I'd hate to have to ditch this ROM after falling in love with the style, features, etc.!

I don't know about the rest of you guys, but in fact, I have never had a cooked ROM running at top speed immediately after a flash. Normally, I remove all the links in the startup folder, disable all the default plugins and reboot.

I just got 4 shortcuts in my startup

CapNotify.lnk from original ROM
and the other 3 added on..


But, TNT is a very good base, I don't think I need to eloborate anymore... everyone knows that..

Trying out the Professional + HTC Home + New Radio... w IPL/SPL 3.08 and GSM 2.19.11UK
On a fresh install... very quick at ~30s...
However after installing some programs... it hits a point where the start-up is extremely sluggish... 2-3 MINUTES sluggish...

Initially installed Voice Command, BatteryStatus, and SPB Mobile Shell... restarting after each one and the boot-up was still ~30s. After installing SPB Weather... it starts to be very slow on boot-up. NO RECOVERIES WERE RUN... However, I did sync the phone w/ the Contacts and Tasks/Appointments on my computer.

Uninstalling SPB Weather, boot-up is still slow so not too sure what's going on... I also have the Touch Dialer skin installed and deleted InitTray, BtIO, poutlook and DrYar from Startup if that affects anything.

UPDATE: Uninstalled everything and still lagging... only things I didn't do so far is remove Owner/Device info and some minor tweaks like touchscreen sensitivity, bar thickness, CommManager button ordering etc... and re-flash the phone. Starting to suspect that Activesync may have done something?


As for my overall experience, this version definitely runs smoother than the TouchFLO version (noticed occasional stuttering when loading/running apps). I find it more responsive and no longer experiencing the loss of reception problem (at least for now). Also noticing a slight lag when going between tabs under Settings initially.

For the TNT followers out there, how do you find this version compared to the 1437?

i want to exclude it in a program but the program only accept .exe files ?!

is there messaging.exe in win dir. or not ?! if not , what should i do ?
