HELP - Trinity/UMTS/GPRS/WIFI

I've been using Axel 3.1.2 lite's WM6 (a great ROM)

But I've just come from a x51v running WM5 Classic (no phone).
I'm so confused on how to use WIFI vs GPRS vs UMTS.

How do I switch on GPRS/UMTS service (and how do I switch it off)?
