Of course. By the way, not all PCs can measure temperature. It is only in the past 5 - 6 years or so that motherboards and other components are manufactured with temperature sensors.
To my knowledge no company has yet to manufacture a mobile phone with temperature sensors.
The main reason is probably that the CPUs and other components of these devices work on significantly lower currents then PCs so they do not produce as much heat.

Search the forums for BatteryStatus. It will display the temperature of the battery which considering is inside the device will reflect the temperature of the device as a whole to a fairly accurate level.
Seperate sensors for the Processor and Ambient internal environment are not yet available in any of our Pocket PCs.

Thanx guys for clearing things out for me. The reason I was wondering about such a program was that I had a Commodore 64 emulator that overheated my Mio A701 device, wich got so hot that my Speaker now has bad sound quality... And thanx for the Battery Status thread. :)
