This ROM realy is wonderful, but take a look on the newer roms, this one is pretty old, there are newer and probably faster releases...some say, wm6.1 is faster than wm6, f. ex.

but just an idea! BTW: i'm pretty sure u don't need to HardSPL your device in order to install this rom because it uses the old way of flashing!

Thanks for the reply. Any ROM to suggest? I really do not intend to change the ROM again, probabilly when I find a ROM that works good for me, I´ll never change it again. I´m just changing because the spanish is not good for me.

Well, it all depends on what u want...If u like to do decide on ur own, what apps are included in your rom, choose a clean one (Korands roms r very stable and fast, I personally like Cloudyfas S4V-roms very much, see my signature). But if u want a full featured rom: there r so many flavours out there with so many different styles and software that is included - u have to try for yourself, what u like. Personally I prefer roms by cloudyfa and gullum, they do a great job here...just take some time and read the threads...u will learn much and find a good rom :)

and yes, i think u can do it the way u mentioned...but for other roms read carefully, what is written about the upgrade method in the corresponding thread!

Few months ago I was tired of the windows stuff and decided to get some simple phone for a change. So I got my wife's old samsung e900. By this time I was using this rom for a few months and it was working almost perfectly.
Than some weeks ago I decided to play arround with my Qtek s200 again and started flashing it with almost everything(almost all 6.1 roms) found here.
I have to say that I was realy disappointed.
Most of the stuff is laggy and very buggy.
Many roms have comm manager problems, missing items in the comm manager.
All the roms have that annoing Keypad sound bug which ****s up everything and permanently changes the red button sound to some kind of crescendo.

Most of the 6.1 roms are actualy slower than this one.
The only thing faster than this rom is the Micro but its totaly stripped of any features and one have to loose a lot of time to customise it.
So today being tired of all this I installed the original wm5 2.2.7.34 to get some stability.
I am now considering to install this one again. The only thing that I realy find useful in 6.1 is IE's zoom out feature but the Opera Mini is still better and makes 3-4 times less traffic.

So, in short, this is maybe the best wm6 rom here.

Can you give me advise thich one si better? I really want a stable rom with most of the features like java, mms, dialpad input and so on. I have flashed so many roms that I got bored allready :) and looking forward for the Android stuff or maybe iphone2 ;)

Well, first of all: this is only my opinion ;) I changed my mind some time ago and stay with very clean roms because they are usually very fast and stable and I can install the apps I want. So i use the rom that is mentioned in my signature. It is really the fastest rom i ever used and is completly stable, found no bug. So maybe you should think about using an very clean rom which supports UC. You have to get the cabs of all apps u want, compose them to a UC-folder, edit the SDConfig.txt and you are done for all future roms. You will always have the software installed, u like most. Just an idea :)

A good question, I never typed so many numbers in the dialpad, i think...just checked it, and yes, the problem exists! So if this is a no-go for you, then turn to another rom! For me it is completly unimportant, because I will never type such long phone numbers :)

Well me too but it also sometimes appear when you type several not so long numbers one after another.... and the biggest issue is that after that the hangup button starts to beep with loud high pitch sound evern after soft reset which is really anying. And I dont know how to change that ;)

And I remembet about the s4 now. I used the full version and the comm manager did not had the right items for me so I started to play with the comm manager conf tool but it was totaly ****ed up. On the touch style some items just did not apear even if there was space for them and it wont show correctly what is selected... the comm manager gone crazy and I wiped the rom :)

What ROM have this problem? Misteryous or 19209? I´m using the S4V.19701.01, and this problem is very frequent. I will change the ROM because that.

firstly, thank cloudyfa for the terrific work, it is really stable that i have ever used. but there is a problem i can not find a solution, let's see, i am from china and like using rom in english version, but i can not logon to the msn live or messenger. it always pops up a window and says: you are unable to establis a internet connection, please contact you mobile service provider, but actually, i do have established a internet(not wap)connection via gprs .
and this problem is never happened on chinese version rom.
so please help out with the problem? lots of thanks in advance.
