Nice rom pretty quick but could never be able to use it, maybe if you post ur ROM SYS i could get somewhere, theres no SIM manger camera MMS internetshareing also id like to use my own normal kasier comm manger

Has anyone flashed this Rom yet? I would like to try it but don't want to waste my time flashing it and having to redo all of my 3rd party installations if the Rom's stability isn't very reliable. Also I would like to know about the functionality:

How stable is the rom? Very, not so much, very unstable?
Does it still have TouchFlo?
Does it have the home plugin?
Does the comm manager work without any bugs? I am a big bluetooth and Wifi user.
What is the free memory? (Device main memory/Free Ram)
What Apps are included?

Basically I am saying that the initial post is somewhat lacking in description and I really like what I see but want to make sure I won't have any problems because I really like what I have now.

All input will be appreciated.

ill post more screenshots then. but if you head over to herald wm6 section you can see more screenshots of some of the stuff in the rom. its not so packed with apps as some of those I upped there :) but you will get a idea.

Ok so I have flashed this Rom and I'm back to report my results. The images in the first post correctly show what the Rom looks like but still doesn't tell you everything you really would like to know before flashing a new Rom to your device. Hopefully the information below will help you make your decision before flashing this Rom.(It is NOT a bad Rom...)

Rom Settings>> Allows you to change from default Contacts to PocketCM or search and allows you to change from original Comm Manager to New Kaiser style which is configurable.

Office Mobile is included, Excel PowerPoint and Word are there but do not work. They appear like they are just "files" and not applications

Rom includes Text Messaging but that is all as far as Messaging goes.

Network Settings need to be configured Manually

Rom has 45.40 free Mb in Main Memory and 27.77 Free Mb of Ram at 6Mb Page Pool.


I hope this will help some of you make your decision. Personally I have only been using this Rom for about an hour now and have found NO problems with stability. Phone, WIFI, Bluetooth, and all sounds work. It is a Great build but is personally not for me.

I actually upped this for those who wants to cook on it :)
And thats why I just added some essentials, and so that ppl could add their pref. oem's

BUT, I will upload the sys, oem and rom folder, so u can add it to your kitchen and cook it as you will.
But it would be nice if you give me credits for the build if you decide to share it.

And Yeah I noticed the office didnt work, must be the compression I used on it that is not working with wizard. Ill fix it and up a new one, as nbf.
Ill include the networkwizard and some other stuff too :)

btw its not a kaiser comm manager ;)

Yo, On your next release could u add all the shortcuts that are suppose to be there I found the HTC camera the sim manger and a bunch of other programs not accessible to the user from programs only going into the Windows directory
and for the Kitchen would it be possible to removed ALL the touch files? or leave it as a package..

I tried to add it, but it never showed up, I tried 3-4 types :)

The oem folder I use from a wizard rom, well, I didnt find one that I liked, so I used a random one. Replace all native oem with one you like better and rebuild it as you like.

Im not a "wizard chef" I basicly cook for herald, and there is some diffrences in registry and how its built (oem) so some flaws im sure you "wizards" will find in this. I have not had enough time to study the wizard and how its built to make a "bugfree" rom, but as I have said, do whatever you want with the files, build a better rom then I have :)

if u did u gotta have tf settings, touchsettings and htctouchflo in the oem.

I got it you left the Touch DLL in the TOuch flo package, Which I dont use..

Issues Camera doesn't show up in programs or as the shortcut.
also for the sim manger and internet sharing besides that amazing kitchen.

I dont know why you have those issues, I use same rom for my friends wizard. None of those issues you mentioned.

I cant pick a sollution from thin air, and start guessing what cause it, I dont know, since its working for me.

Got another issue:

When i Start TouchSettings, I get the message "Cannot read existing settings - is HTC TouchFLO installed?". The first Tab looks strange and when i change somethin in another Tab i cannot save it...getting errors

I've been using this rom for the past 3 days and the battery life is amazing!
It has it's few qwarks, but that's to be expected for such a quick port :-)
I have the same touchsettings bugs, and office is dead, but those dont really bother me for now.

I dont have any touchsettings bugs, but hey, thats life :)

The office actually works, but somehow the link files dont work. If you need to you can make new .lnk files with in.ex total commander, and direct them to the officefolder. :)
