Was just wondering - with all this memory leak issues cropping up - not that I have complaints 'bout it - as mine barely goes down below 20MB...but still...

I would like to have a feature/scheduler - which would reboot my Orbit - when :

a) It reaches a threshold - like 15MB memory or lesser !
b) maybe a time bound schedule - like 1am every morning !

Is there any software I can use to do this?

Nice thought but there is an issue.
What bout pin request? After reboot you have to enter pin for mobile to work. If you don't, you will have no mobile.
I do not think is clever to disable pin request either.

I've heard that one of the backup softwares (maybe SPB) can do a scheduled SR. You can set to 1am to do a SR every day.

You can do a scheduled backup with SPB Backup everyday at 1am.
After that SPB Backup automatical restarts your device...

I dont use a Pin - so thats not a problem....

Well my soft reset issue seems to be resolved...I can use psShutXP to set a Timer schedue and it reboots fine....

Now to find a solution whereby - when the memory goes below a certain threshold - it reboots ! that would be a killer !

Will liv with the self reboot - once a day for now...

Yesterday i tried also with PsShutXP, but does it save the settings after reset ?
As far as i could see, you have to enter the schedule evertime again....?

Well my problem resolved...the scheduler is in XDA-Dev site itself !

This utility RunEveryDay.exe can execute any exe file based on schedules defined...quite appropriate for my case...

I set up a couple of schedules and they executed all in order one by one...the softreset you will need a different exe which does not ask for a prompt...and is attached...

I have been using SKSchema, a commercial app, to soft reset my artemis at 6.00am every morning. It is a really cool app but a bit hardcore for my ability. You can make it enter your pin or watch for any event, I think even a memory threshold, but you have to use scripts, which I am finding a bit hard, you guys would not. It can even emulate screen taps or keyboard entries to a schedule. I sound like a crap salesman, But it would be good for my karma if I persuaded someone to buy it!
