Russian Version of 5.2.2000 (20000.1.0.0) is out. Uploading to Rapidshare.

Author claims that this firmware was ported from a new unnaunced device which will come out only Q1 2008.

It Has:
1. WM6 AKU1.
2. Firmware is fully modular (SYS AND OEM)
3. Registry was optimised. It has Registry from official 19012.1.0.0. WWE, Russian version is made from *.0419.mui and localisation in corresponding *.rgu.
4. Bluetooth is optimised (author has no ideas in which way it was optimised , but original source clamed that =) ).
5. NetCF is stable.
6.Windows Media Player 11.2 Bulid 20000
7. ММС ver. 4.2.8.1 fully russian.
8. Camera (mix from different DLLs and original wizard camera) НТС ver 4.11.
9. New file certification OEM Sign 2007.
10. Redrawn skins from remember and edict.

well theres always going to be something new, but just from what i know about m$, build 2000 would be internal or alpha and real release would not be a round number like that... im glad there's new stuff, but with everyone's hard work, we're at a pretty good place with wm6 for the wiz so i don't really care if its fake or not :)

What kind of good reason are we talking about? Technically, Weren't all of the WM6 Roms here modified from the original WM6 Wizard OS that was never supposed to be released to the public in the first place?

As far as I know, there was never an official WM6 update for any service carrier that sold a variation of the Wizard which technically means that every one of us has "st**en" from M$ since we have this OS right?

I think that every WM6 Rom here was technically "protected by law" when it was released here. Am I wrong?

Protected by law or not, it doesn't really seem to matter. If M$ isn't going to release this BRAND NEW firmware to the public, then we can't have it or any other WM6 Rom.

Too bad no one here cares that we aren't really supposed to have this. :cool:

Core is not TCPMP, it's not shareware. I don't know the whole history..they look the same but one is free and the other isn't.

I am a long-term user of its right's TNT.1437 TouchFlo Rom since I modified it to 10Mb page pool and I wanted to replace the Standard SMS app with WM6 "" Threaded SMS in Rom. I have the cab file and the OEM package for it but can't, for the life of me, figure out how to install it to Rom so that it doesn't need to be installed every time I hard-reset and so that it will run faster.

Think you can help me out with that? If you think you can help me out, I will attach both zip files here and once you download them, I will remove them.

if you just want a rom with a newer SMS app, dump the rom that you have, then If you have the OEM Package of what you want , just replace it with the one in dump folder and then cook your own ROM! follow anichillus guides, with his kitchen , it's very straight forward!

Just contacted author he is saying that this firmware was made for personal use that is the reason why it contains Core player. It there only for demonstration purposes.

I tried to dump the ROM, so far unsuccessfull, to get the missing .dll's for HTC Album to work on Wizards... Somehow the ROM is protected and I can't get around it... anybody more experienced than me can do it?

For example, in XIP part only difference (between any AKU 0.7.0 and AKU 1.0.0) you will find is several bytes in coredll.dll, and these bytes are bare version number. I'm not going to discuss the ROM itself, but you might be wrong in this conclusion. If you have ever heard the term "software lifecycle management", you might know that release/service pack/patch lines can be assigned to stable (aka "released") state of the "whole", even if some parts haven't undergone any changes.

2. Why do you think that "20000 build with 19012 registry" is the most stable thing? why do you think that mixing registry gives you anything but bugs?

For wisard exists now only 3 versions of base OS - 318, 1437 and our. All other are only modifications. I'll not talk about build.
And coredll is not sign of root of that. Imgfs, nk and other in xip are unique. All other words about OS version - junk.

i don't know about wizard, but for ASUS P525 i can use ANY core build and any OS build. I have all discussed on this forum builds and all are working on my device, but i don't want to release bullshit like this. I know, most builds of AKU 0.7.0 are fakes (i even don't talk about build 20000) and don't want to fool people who use my ROMs.

If only 3 builds of XIPs are available for wizard then... it means there are not many people with good knowledge who is interesting in creating ROMs for wizard. Nothing else.

I don't know, but 2 are solution:
1) are great to patch files;
2) this is really a new OS Version;

for now, I'm porting xip and sys folder for my trinity......
in this case, I don't know what to say......
coredll.dll' s000 are 28 bytes differents from 2000 and 1933 os version (when only 2 bytes are good to patch os Version!!)
and wmcore.dll is more different form build 1921 and 1933 (don't try with other else!!)
cplmain.cpl 28 bytes differents (for me only 6 bytes to patch from 1933 to 2000)

I used ever bepe kitchen to make rom, formdable!! ;)
but I discovered that for this rom was used "Scoter kitchen", in fact if I reconstruct the dump\ folder with package_tools no more packages I can see, but If I use "DMP2PKG.exe" from scoter kitchen, all packages are created, then, and all is stored and logically structured into \oem and \sys folder, and all dsm and rgu are organized into packages......
but for building the os.nb, I'm young to understand, but one thing is true: use scoter kitchen to obtain organized packages from this rom!! :)

rom 1978/18578, is really fake, I used it to compare with 1921/18521 to know witch files were patched.....
and really were patched, becouse, using ida and some brain permitted to me to obtain fake 2000/20000 build rom......

There are camera-mix version: interface of HTC 3** (forgot number) but the "image driver" from 4.11 (if i'm not got a mistake).

Camera works more-more-more bettet than "older" version.
JPEG quolity - the best!

Have you even looked at my past posts, I am a very good chef who never takes credit for others work. My main reason for wanting to dump is because I hate having to use an extended rom to make my phone the way I want it. I have very specific settings that I like, I can never use a ROM out of box. To me, thats like going to Grocery store and buying a cake pre-made, taking it home and scraping the icing off just to put a diffrent flavor on.

Bake the cake the way you want it.

And i really dont need this kind of rudeness from someone with 5 posts on this forum. look at the numbers before you give this kind of a response.

This is the best freaking version of WM6 I've had. THIS IS ******* AWESOME!!!!!!! Not because I'm russian speaking that I value this ROM so well, but because it functions smoothly and has alot of options

How does the weather update thing works? I don't have internet set-up on my Tmobile MDA and it still updates the correct weather.

Some of us just use the rom and have no idea what goes in it, my only advice to the experts is that don't judge a book by its cover read it first then comment. to me the rom works better than any i have ever used fake or not fake there might have been something the guy did to make it batter and thats is real to me. Keep up the good work

I just downloaded it. I didn't have a chance to flash it yet. The camera is probably 3.0.25498.

BTW, there is also a clean/stripped down version (no touchflo, cube, etc...) just the base if you guys want to add your own flavors.

The camera version displays as 4.11, but it definitely is NOT 4.11. The real v4 cameras are very different looking. This looks like the same old 3.00 camera.

This rom having problem with office mobile 2007
When you saving word document, It gives you only .docx .rtx .txt no option for save as oter office doc versions (.doc)

If you have selected to save as .rtx or .txt It not saving as those formats. It save only as a .docx

Also It cant open priviously saved document on other office versions (.doc)

Also I hate eye on privacy and I tried to delet from startup and from windows folder, but no luck.

So, I'm going to reflash my favorite WRCX3

I have been quietly reading away on this very interesting thread, and I think this is one of the best rom's out. It really seems very stable and fast. I really think everyone should give props to the people that put all of the time and effort into this, including you naysayers. I have never seen a rom as smooth and beautiful as this one is. It has all the right touch's.

The only thing that I would like to see is the background for the music player and this phone pad layout. I really like these. Is there any way to get these? And am I simply overlooking something in the rom??

has anyone tried the base rom I am quite nervous becasue the file is less than 50mb just flashed and I can say it is great no problem in activesync and that is the most important will be trying to add my applications now great job but hopefully there will be a kitchen for this ... now I know why there is a real need for the kitchen

I have tested the base rom...on a CID unlocked G4 Wizard It runs very smooth and fast.. It lacks Windows Live though (Which I really need for push mail via hotmail.) after installing a Windows Live cab on the ROM it brought my Wizard to a crawl..

So far this is stable. Although when I loaded my pim backup, it slowed to a crawl. every touch took about 10 seconds reaction time. I was unable to open anything. I let it sit for a good 10 minutes. And then the speed was right back to where it should be. On a similar rom pdaviet 1.0 the same thing happened and it would not recover, therefore I was forced into a soft reset first, then when I rebooted it would freeze at the third splash screen. Only a Hard reset would recover the rom.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

yeah it's obviously not the official but hey it works, i've been using for over 1.5weeks and i've had no extreme problems, but I really only use resco file explorer and tcpmp.

For me this ROM is great, no problems, I did loaded few programs including Windows Live 10.6.0033.0600 which doesn’t upgrade by itself all the time and I don't know why?

The rom works really good. And it look like cool. Except the clock.

1.I have problem with htc album, all three, wont open a pictures. album closes itself after 2 sec of runing.

2.It would be nice to add htc costumizer to change apperiance of clock.

3. Extremely slow boot. 1,5 min. ???

question, I downloaded the pdaviet 1.0. after flashing my default font has changed to ???. this implicates sentences are longer then they were with the original font. Does anybody know how to restore this?

I used since it's came out and it worked fine... the only problem I have now (I know it was not there after I installed it) I can connect with my bluetooth gps device, even if it is recognized and a serial com port is associated...

any idea?

I think it stopped working when I added my bluetooth earphone...
