Did i just brick my phone? Help!!!

Hi, Well i came here and found WM6 install for the BA and so i go and try and install it, i think nothing of it. Then the installer comes up saying that it cant detect my phone so i go and look at my phone and Its just a gray screen with Serial at the top and V 1.02 at the bottom. Man, i just got this phone and im hopeing i didnt screw it up already =/ this freaking sucks. Can anyone help me please

Are you using USB port to connect your phone? If you are your usb connection is not working because it will show usb on the screen rather than serial. Need to check your usb connection if you are using usb.

Well, it says that when i got it conected to the dock, But serial when its off.

If it says that then the usb connection is AOK.

Hmm... You mean you havent installed it yet?
Try "Hard Resetting" then reDo the process of Upgrading step by step... maybe you missed something.

I think that as long as your bootloader is intact. You can install your OS definitely, I think, correct me if im wrong. coz that happened to me and i revived my BA.

Well it was just an installer, I ran the .exe and it was like "Installing WM6!!" then it just cut off and did this crap. So is there annother way to install it? did i do something wrong?

Well i tried "Hold down the Power button (Top Right corner) and at the same time put your Stylus pen in the hole where it says “Reset” (Lower Left corner)." But the screen lights up and then goes blank then it pops up with the serial jazz. I hope i can get this fixed because i cant afford a new phone.

Try pressing/hold the (Record Button) + (Power Button) Then Stick the (Reset Button)...
that'll make it go into the Interface Mode(Bootloader) that's either Serial or USB... then try to flash it again.

Well, I do that and the screen does the same thing, when i hook it up to the dock it does the famose xp Bedunk sound saying it knows something is conected. How do i install the thing again if active sync cant find it?

Okay, well i went to try and install it anyways and it seemed like it worked... why do i have such bad luck?
Well now after it was complete n i did the soft reset, It has 4 big bold Color lines, and at the bottom it says

No GSM
D 5.60.00 WWE

=/ whats that mean? Im too damn young for all this technical crap man, any help, please...

It-s all good... Just reset the device pushing the pin with the stylus and everything will be fine...
Anyway, like SilverSamurai said..., if you can get into bootloader mode then you're fine...
Make sure you upgrade using the MaUpgradeUt_noID app and follow carefully the instructions step by step: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=326532

My first upgrade to another 2003 firmware was a nightmare and many times I've felt my heart pumping like it was gonna burst just looking at my beloved BA not booting... And since I think I installed almost every ROM I could get my hands on.

My advice, try again cos Helmi's WM6 Pro really rocks and it's the most stable I've seen so far...
