is it possible to update the wm6 kernel without reflashing the whole rom ? if so can this be done regardless of localisation data (language, keyboard settings...) ?
if not, is it possible to change language settings (download language packs, as for windows vista) on a wm6 device ?
thanks for the technical advices.

1) Not really, WM architecture was not made to be flashed in parts though theoretically there might be a way around it.
2) Yes there are language packs. Check out http://buzzdev.net for examples.

thank you for the info.
I understand from thes readings that WM6 is mui-enabled.
the difficulty thus resides in extracting .mui files from the ms provided internationalized images.
from then, creating a .cab with the .mui and a reg edition for language code should be comparatively simplier.
maybe some top-skilled dev at xda could help streamline this stuff ? (<== lot of international page hits)
(just downloaded the fr localization, but the link for tadzio tools is down atm)
