i was attempting to update my rom version on my 8125 and i guess my pc need to reset it's self while in the process of updating my phone. During my pc reboot it would not restart, due to my bios settings( my pc was to hot). It cooled off and when i started it back up my phone has
4 Colored srips (RED, GREEN, BLUE, AND WHITE)
It reads in the red strip
IPL 2.25
LOWER IN THE RED STRIP IT READS
SPL 2.25
IPL is in white letters and SPL is in yellow letters.
Also it reads RUU in the upper right corner of my screen.
when I plug in my usb cable it reads usb in the bottom left corner of my screen but nothing happens, Can someone please help me out on this?????:confused: :confused:

If it is reading your usb in the lower corner you are ok...just re-flash the rom.

***update? custom rom?? cid/sim unlocked??? If you answered NO to cid/sim unlocked, that NEEDS to be done first...if you have a G3 use lokiwiz or wizard service tool AFTER you reflash the stock rom from your provider. Once unlocked you can flash a custom rom. If you have a G4 phone that is a bit trickier. Read in the stickies for HOW TO's***

First of all download official carrier's Rom from it's website,
1. Make sure your phone is not Connected to the PC and remove the dummy card or SD/MMC card if any

2. On your Desktop PC, open Microsoft ActiveSync, then go to File >Connection Settings >Remove the Selection from “Allow USB Connection with this desktop computer”

3. Reconnect your phone to the Desktop PC using the USB Cradle and the Charger MUST be Connected to the Cradle (Don’t use the IrDA or Bluetooth for the Upgrade)

4. when usb appear in the bootloader mode(tri color screen) at the bottom of the screen

5. Run the Upgrade again and it will work fine without any problems.


While upgrading, the ActiveSync program will not go on, however the upgrade is running.

If you have done the method of unlocking with lokiwiz,than go for the upgrading procedure as per the guide,you must read and correctly follow the whole method,don't skip any step,but if your phone still cid locked,then read and understand the method of unlocking,read the unlocking guide,after that continue with upgrade
