HTC Universal Radio/ROM/OS Update by SD card

Hi guys.

Problems: 1. SPV M5000 USB port damaged, can't sync with PC but can charge
via standard charger or USB from PC.
2. SPV M5000 stuck in 'searching for signal...'.
3. SPV can't load SPV M5000 ROM updater from Orange via USB
ActiveSync or Bluetooth ActiveSync.
4. Cost of repairing broken USB port un-economical.


Questions: 1. Can I upgrade the Radio ROM or entire ROM via SD card, and if
YES, how? (Please give non-technical step-by-step instructions).
2. Can I also upgrade the OS to WM6 via SD card, and if YES, how?
(Please give non-technical step-by-step instructions).
