HTC WM6 ROM customize phone and CommMgr background

Does anyone know how to modify the background image for the HTC WM6 ROM build for Comm Manager and the phone dialer screen? I'd like to remove the green background with something different.

For the background imagem try to look at \Windows folder:
HTC_BrandingBrickImg_320x27.bmp to HTC_WallpaperImg_320x240.bmp

On this 5 files you'll find the background's. But I don't know how to change the CommManager screen.. and I want it to change very bad .. this ugly green screen it's killing me .. Tmo blue screen it's so much better.

I saw in another thread that CommManager has the background images embedded in one of it's DLL's. I'm going to look into hacking it, and see if I can get the default green images changed to something different.

I believe I have found the registry locations on where to change the bitmap images for the dialer app:


Call Progress Screen
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Phone\Skin\Progress\L andscape\Other
(STRING) bmpNormal = \Windows\HTC_CallProgressBkg_320x186.bmp

Phone Application bar above number field:
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\: MSBranding
(STRING) BannerImage = \windows\HTC_BrandingBrickImg_320x27.bmp

\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\: MSCdia
(STRING) BannerImage = \windows\HTC_BrandingBrickImg_320x27.bmp

\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\: MSCPROG
(STRING) BannerImage = \windows\HTC_BrandingBrickImg_320x27.bmp

Download the ZIP file (which contains a blue HTC background,) extract the BMP image and use your favorite file explorer to copy the BMP image to \windows. Then, use a registry editor and change the first reg value I provided above to the filename.

You will need to reboot your device in order for the new image to be used.

That doesn't work right.
When you change the CallProgressBkg image with another in white background you can't see the call information on the screen, like call progress and contact info. Because the font color is white.
When I change back to the CallProgressBkg I got the info back. So I don't know how to change the imagem and still see the call progress info, changing the font color to black for example.

Anyone knows?

EDIT: I change it to a black image and works great!
To one attached is what I'm using right now.
