Is There Any Way to Change WiFi11b to 11g in K-Jam

Dear Developers

I have a IMate K-Jam

i Want to change its WiFi from 11b to 11b,g

is there any software or wat to change it,

Taken from Howard Forums:

Apparently, all incarnations of HTC Wizard except for the i-mate k-jam ship with 802.11g mode enabled. Others, including the original incarnation (Qtek 9100) come with only 802.11b enabled.

To fix this, add dword 'dot11SupportedRateMaskG' with decimal value '8' in:
\HKLM\Comm\TNETWLN1\Parms\

Then soft reset.

To do this you will need a Regisry editor, I use Total Commander.

AFAIK, the device will not connect at 11G speeds, but this hack will allow you to work.
