I want to try out MS Voice Command for a few days, but when I uninstall it, it does not restore my registry the way it was before install. I couldn't fix the damage done last time (BT activation only opened phone pad & headset button didn't work at all) so I had to hard reset. Since then I've set my phone up all over again and backed it up with Sprite and Regedit.
Just wondering if anyone else has restored their registry settings with this program. I would love to just restore the registry, and not have to run the Sprite Back-up.

I'm not sure what bits of the registry you'll need to restore - probably HKLM and HKCU?? Personally, if I was gonna attempt a registry restore (and I'm not sure I've got the nerve :)), I'd take a look at CeRegEditor - it's a PC based registry editor that allows you to take an image of the PPC registry, then do a compare and/or restore (Web site HERE (http://ceregeditor.mdsoft.pl/) - have a look, it's free!!).
I guess at the end of the day if the registry restore doesn't work, you've got the Sprite backup to fall back on - hopefully it won't come to that!!
Hope you get on ok!

This is a great tool! Thanx, very good find. Will be a lot easier to work with on the desktop.
