First of all, many thanks to all donators!

Unfortunately I don't have much time, so new feature introduced not so fast...

Changes in 1.4:
1. Fixed a few bugs causing not stable behavior (freezing, white-screen or so.).
2. Fixed LeftRightAppCmdLine parameter parsing.
3. Fixed "Excluded programs" list.
4. Display orientation now checked for each point. Hope issues with "incorrect calibration" in landscape mode on some devices will be solved.
5. Whole application optimization.
6. Added scrolling in "Agenda One" windows. Changed scrollable window searching algorithm.
7. Added possibility to turn off scrolling function. New parameter "DisableScroll" with possible values: 0 - scrolling enabled and 1 - scrolling disabled. For example, to disable scrolling in all windows put DisableScroll:1 to the configuration file.

No new features or so. Just stability. A few more checks added, suspicious parts of code rewrited and so on.

Fixed:
1. Fixed bug with memory allocation which for 99.99999% was a reason for devices freezing. To avoid possible huge problems (even hardreset might be required sometimes!) with your devices I would recommend uninstall FTouchFlo 1.0 and 1.1 if you have them installed.
2. To avoid changing '/' to '\' in gestures parameters you have to put parameter value in brackets:
[will be changed]: UpDownAppCmdLine:/Program files/123.exe
[will not be changed]:UpDownAppCmdLine:"/cmd_line_parameter"

Fixed:
1. Devices freezing (I really hope!)
2. Slash - Backslash problem in configuration file. You can put there anything you want and FTouchFlo will change all / to \.
3. Excluded programs: sometimes currently active application wasn't recognized and excluded.
4. User activity notification added. Before that when you're just scrolling, windows didn't know about your activities.

Overview
FTouchFlo is the program which gives you possibility to control with your Windows Mobile PDA without using stylus but with your finger!
It allows scrolling contents of windows in most of applications (Outlook, File explorer, MS Word, Notes, Contacts etc.) where vertical or horizontal scroll bars are! Along with scrolling feature FTouchFlo provides launching functionality. You will be able to start up to 4 your favorite applications just sliding your finger on the touch screen in one of four directions.

Instructions:
1. Scrolling and standard windows behavior: To scroll contents of a window with vertical or horizontal scroll bar you have to touch your screen and immediately start scrolling by moving your finger. You have just a few milliseconds (Delay) between the moment you’ve touched the screen and started scrolling. If you’ll not start scrolling immediately, your PDA will be working as usual (standard windows behavior function): you’ll be able to select text or use tap-n-hold function to invoke context menu.

2. Zones: There are 2 zones of touch screen controlled by FTouchFlo: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=54777&d=1192802119

Zone “1” is always used for scrolling or “standard windows behavior” functions. Zone 2 might be also used for launching up to 4 your favorite applications.
Note: Scrolling and “Standard windows behavior” functions are also available in the Zone 2.

3. Launching: To launch one of four predefined applications you can use four different gestures: Down->Up, Up->Down, Left->Right, Right->Left.
Note: You should always start gestures for launching applications from the Zone 2!
Note: You should start moving your finger almost immediately (GestureWaitingDelay) after you’ve touched the screen!
• Down-Up gesture should be started from the bottom of the screen and you should move your finger to the 1/3 of screen in the direction to the top of screen:http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=54778&d=1192802119
• Up->Down gesture should be started from the top of screen and you should move your finger to the 1/3 of screen in the direction to the bottom of screen;
• Left->Right gesture should be started from the left of screen and you should move your finger to the 1/3 of screen in the direction to the right of screen;
• Right->Left gesture should be started from the right of screen and you should move your finger to the 1/3 of screen in the direction to the left of screen.
4. Excluded applications. This feature allows you to restrict FTouchFlo control gestures when some application is running. It is useful in case if the application natively supports scrolling with finger function or gestures.
5. Disabled when SIP is active. FTouchFlo will be automatically disabled when you have SIP (Software Input Panel) active, so you can use Block Recognizer, Letter Recognizer and other SIPs without taking into account that FTouchFlo is running.

Limitations
1. Transcriber is not supported.
2. Scrolling doesn’t works in MSExcel, Resco Photo Viewer and some other applications with unusual approach how to use scrollbars. 
3. Windows internal calibration application will not be working while FTouchFlo is running.

Licensing, using, copyrights etc.
1. You can use FTouchFlo for non-commercial purposes free of charge.
2. You can include FTouchFlo in your ROMs with notice about FTouchFLo copyright.
3. You can distribute FTouchFlo together with your application with notice about FTouchFlo copyright.
4. All rights to FTouchFlo belong to FTouchFlo developers.
5. You can use FTouchFlo on your own risk.
6. FTouchFlo developers are not responsible for any problems caused by using FTouchFlo.

Troubleshooting
If the touch screen is not responding, it might be caused by FTouchFlo. Just softreset the device.

Looks really good!

So now you can decide whether the whole screen should be used for scrolling or part 1 for scrolling and part 2 for launching programs?

A good idea to get rid of the shifting between modes :)

A couple of suggestions (to do after bugs have been sorted):

1) Maybe it could be possible to decide which areas of part 2 (the launch part of the screen) you would like to use? For instance, if you only want up->down to close programs and down->up to launch a program cube, you could decide not to use the left and right part of part 2 of the screen, which perhaps would make it easier to scroll sideways?

This could perhaps be done in an easy way: If no program is linked to right->left or left->right, it will just scroll instead of trying to launch a program? (Maybe it is already done this way?)

2) Make different approaches if you are on the home screen or somewhere else. Right now I really can't see the point for me personally, but maybe someone else could? :D

3) Kinetic scrolling and easy slow scrolling of course :)

I think that's all I can think of right now. Keep up the great work efrost!

Edit: Just got one more idea :P

4) Maybe if the borders of the part of the screen could be set manually (like the GestureWaitingDelay). In this way people with flush screens (like HTC Touch) could set it to a smaller amount, since it's easier to swipe from the border of the screen on such devices. Just an idea :)

No. There are always 2 zones but both can be used for scrolling and just Zone2 for launching.

Then there's really just the kinetic and slow scrolling part left. And maybe the possibility of manually adjusting the borders?

That would really be the icing on the cake :D

Hi! You should have this file or you can configure different application to be started with Down->Up gesture. Check "Configuration" section in the first post.

Hi thank a lot for this amazing app today i installed Ftouchflo 04 b and loved that already just now i installed v1 and i am totally amazed
only one thing i cannot invoke the normal cube , if it is also possible with your app please tell me what to do.
maybe it is something to do with the (normal touchflo) what was embedded in my rom?
how can i get rid of that?

Hmm.. Good question. Do you know some exe or lnk file which starts "normal" cube? If yes, you should assign it to one of gestures. If you don't know, I hope somebody will help with it. :) I didn't have in my hands a PDA with real TouchFlo and I don't have any idea how to launch cube. :)

I have installed v1.0 into the device itself and when I run the FTouch, my device froze...I have to do soft reset after that. And then i uninstalled and reinstalled the problem remains...please any idea ?

Just installed FTF1.0 and start playing with it. First impression: much better scrolling than A4; Launcher works nice as well. Will report on further experience.

Oh my! Two 1.0 versions in 1 day, this must be x-mas! Installed it and worked without a hitch, I love the 2 zone implementation, I tried it with Slither's new cube and it's almost TOO good. I just don't know what to say. Thank you, amazing. truly.

I believe that you have uninstalled the alpha version and installed v1.0...did you do anything else to get the Slither's new cube to run. Mine, I mean the cube v1.0 runs well with alpha 4.0, but could get it going with this new v1.0..any thought on this...thanks.

Yes I did...I used alpha 4.0 and it works amazingly...but after I uninstalled alpha version and tried, so many times, v1.0...I encountered that problem...by the way my device is O2 atom life...

It looks like standard calibration routine different in different devices. :-\
Could you, please, check what you have in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\TOUCH ? Which values are there and which data?

P.S. Probably I'll have to leave old FTouchFlo's calibration routine as "failover" solution... Don't delete your calibration.dat file if you have it from Alpha4! :)

Hi! There is no such function in FTouchFlo. I have written a small program which can minimize active application, so if you're interesting, I can publish it. You can assign this application to up->down gesture and active application will be minimized.

I'm not sure if your app can currently deal with this type of gesture, but it could open up the possibility for many new gestures and therefore more app launches.

When I did the calibration, it said that I have gathered 5 points...I re-checked the data and that is the string values shown...but it runs great...the only thing is that I need to have the v1.0...one more thing, when i installed v1.0, it didnt prompt me to do calibration (like gathering all required points)..any further thoughts on this...thanks

Yes, this is the first version of ftouchflo I'm using--I didn't try the alphas that were released. There are other applications that I placed in my config file that are excluded correctly like pocketplayer, oto, and slide2unlock. I'm using an HTC Apache with AKU 3.5. Thanks for looking.

i've installed TCPMP to storage card and set DownUPApp:/Storage Card/Program Files/TCPMP/PLAYER.exe but when I move my finger it doesn't show up, am I missing some "DownUpAppCmdLine" or what ? :confused:

Hi! I didn't :)
All this stuff is just part of path to some file. If you have path which is, for example,
/Programmi/FTouchFlo/FTouchFlo.exe you should use this path.

FTouchFlo doesn't request names of special folders from Windows... It's just trying to open process with defined full pathname.

Hi! You'll not believe, but it works for me. With your config I've successfully started TotalCommander renamed to TCPMP.exe :-\

Do you really have TCPMP in the Storage Card and not in Storage Card2 or so? :-\
Also if you have a shortcut to TCPMP.exe in your Start Menu/Programs, try to copy contents of this shortcut and put them to FTouchFloConfig. May be it requires some command line arguments. :-\

1. I think that paths are correct. You can simply check it - just create lnk file, put "/Scheda di Memoria/SCLPF/Version 1-00.swf" there and try to run. :)

2. I wouldn't recommend using efrostsMinimize.exe with Up->Down gesture! I wrote this app to minimize flash... Program is really simple - just takes currently active window and minimizes it. Problem will be when you'll invoke minimize when Today screen will be foreground. It will be minimized and you'll need softreset to recover. :)

3. docx-file is MS Word 2007 document with FTouchFlo description. Description is the same as in the first post and in the readme file.

Cube invokes efrostsminimize.exe. Just exclude efrostsminimize.exe from the FTouchFloConfig, put efrostsMinimize.exe where you have cube and everything will be ok! Thanks!

Great. It Works =)
But not the cube.. when I process UpDown Flash starts but the screen "flashes" white for a second and stops going back on today..

Any suggestion?

EDIT: The SCLPF folder is on my device and not on storage card..

That's better! Have you touched the screen after you started FTouchFlo? There is one event received from touch driver...

Horizontal scrolling is perfect. Up and down is way too quick and overshoots my intended program icon.

Which icontact version you're using?

I'm using the latest .3 version. I did some more testing and found this behavior. I can get icontacts to work after I select a contact. After doing that it scrolls as normal. However, if I go into resco explorer or another application that ftouchflo is controlling and then go back to icontact it doesn't work. I have to select a contact again to make it work. Hope this can help you out.

Fackin' killer app eFrost! Great work! I was waiting until v1.0 got posted, as I've been a volunteer beta tester for (too) many apps here, but they're all awesome. I absolutely love this community, really intelligent people and posters (for the most part!), and the resources that are available.

ALthough I would have also liked to minimize ANY app by sliding UP-->DOWN, I read that you didn't recommend it with eFrostMinimize.exe, since it would potentially minimize the homescreen (somethign that an exception/exclude in eFrostMinimize.exe would fix?). What I've done in the meantime is use my Wisbar shortcuts for "Close/OK" and "Switch App", so UP-->DOWN will close an app, and LEFT-->RIGHT will switch apps.

I'm a sucker for gestures (use 'em on my laptop all the time), and now having them on my PPC makes me that much happier. The only thing that would make me ecstatic is if we could have more than 4 pre-defined gestures (such as diagonals, and UP-->DOWN-->UP type of gestures). I know that's for future consideration, but I can't help tossing out my 2cent ideas ;)

You can configure FTouchFlo by changing it’s configuration file: FTouchFloConfig.txt which you can find in the Program Files\FTouchFlo directory.
Note: Changes made in the configuration file will be applied automatically when active application will be changed.

What kind of configuration I need to do?

I have installed FTouchFlo_1.0 but hang the system when program launched.

Downgrade to Alpha 4 and it worked properly.

Hey eFrost! The program looks awesome. I installed it on my treo 700wx and when I first start it, it works great. Then, I push the power button to turn off the screen and then when I turn the screen back on, my touchscreen no longer works. I've tried to read this forum for a fix but can't find one. Any suggestions?

efrost, you have realy come up with one of the few major awesome apps for the touch phones that people have made. Thank you, and THANK THE MISS for all your hard work.

I am following this development as I did the HTC Home development in the past. Like the HTC Home app finaly came with a HTC Home customizer (UI)interface (HHC app)which can be installed to card)and the ByKa CUBE also has a customizer (UI) interface, I belive your GREAT app and all of us and the people yet to come would benifit greatly with a similar FTouchFlo Customizer (UI) interface:D !

-Thoughts are that PPC gifted or noobs alike would be able to configure your app the way you designed and ment it to be with ease, and be able to use it and not create a never ending list of how to or help posts that have been answered and re-answered, or just simple errors in typing the paths.

-Instead of you overlooking typo errors with peoples attempts to edit source code or pathways and having to retype and repost for each person, I can see your time better spent creating a CUSTOMIZER and then with further development of this app (eg. adding the extra gestures mentioned earlier and so on) and the freed up time you will have spent with wife to make her happy so she lets you keep developing;) ! You and us would GREATLY benifit from this!!

Each further customizer release would be self explanitory in the operation of the UI. The customizer would rewrite the pathways for people in the backend. Example on one screen in the customizer...
-list of each of the gesture symbols of movements to open apps. HAS---> a corisponding browse button to locate desired app for that movement = rewriten pathway. Or. Sorry that path is not supported at this time. Please choose another location.
-Another page in the customizer may be devoted to default settings for the slider responce and also borders and distance travelled. Options settings could be put into here in a future development so some may change the way your app scrolls, responce time, border responce size, and so forth.
-develop at your own pace, ad new improvments to either app as a new release, and not have excess new questions of how to configure, set up, etc, etc... remember it would be self explanitory!
-Just have important questions from then on devoted to bugs, and further development of this great app.

This is just an obsevation of what I could see happen for you and a great app like this, as I have seen it work in this way before (HTC Home & ByKa CUBE). I would love to be able to contribute and do this for you, but at this time my programing skills are not up to the task:( , I am very sorry.

Again THANK YOU to both MR. & MISS efrost for time devoted to this. I hope to one day have these three stable things aways running on my Hermes200 Tytn, HTC 6Tab Home, fully functioning & working CUBE(ByKa or Slithers), and this latest and must have app in a fully stable and easily customisable working state!

Memory usage is barely 2mb.

I only have three things on my wishlist

there needs to be a easy way to close this program, i would really like to map this to a hard key in the manner that running the exe twice closes it

a gui driven configuration app wouldnt be so bad :P

I MISS MY TRANSCRIBER! I never really get use out of it anyways, but when i really want to show off what my phone can do (take that iphone), i whip out the stylus and write stuff down, this app is +1 to cool factor and -1 by taking away my prescious transcriber

If workarounds or simply my wishes have already been granted, someone please post so, 11 pages is a lot of stuff

ok, I got it. I tried it that way (\Storage Card\Program Files\TCPMP\PLAYER.exe) and it works, may be replaced "/" by "\", thanks efrost !:D

I believe this program should exclude all SIP applications (such as the transcriber) by default. Have you tried it, and it didn't work?

FTouchFlo is simply amazing! but i have a couple of problems encountered:

1.) i just tried v1.0 on my ipaq hx2495 (WM5) and after installation. upon starting FtouchFlo, the device just freezes and hangs. no way to revive it except a soft reset. :(

it's pretty wierd reaction to the latest version since all alpha versions worked seamlessly with no hitches and problems at all. is v1.0 a complete rewrite of FTouchFlo from the alpha releases? is there a workaround i can do to make v1.0 run on my ipaq since all the older versions worked in the past?

2.) you mentioned in a post that we can copy the contents of a link file into the app's config for the launcher. i tried copying the default contact's link contents and put it in the CmdLine of a gesture but it still doesn't launch the default contacts. can you possibly tell what am i doing wrong? (i'm trying to map the default contacts as a back-up contacts app to another gesture launcher aside from my iContacts)

have to roll back to using alpha 0.4 for now though, :( but thanks a lot for this app!

Efrost, thanks for your app. It works well on my JASJAM. Scrolling works as well on MS Excel.
I have ButtonFLO setup and I can launch The TouchCube with gesture. Fantastic.

I like this version because of the small footprint on memory and CPU resources. A fine balance between features and performance.

Naturally everyone is excited with your app and many propose further ideas. But take your time to have a well deserved rest first or your wife would hate all of us here.

I am very interested in using Button flo...I've only tried slither's cube with ftouchflo but I didn't like really like these flash launchers...the motion seems abit jerky and slow compared to the animations from say, pocketcm. How smooth is the real button compared to these flash launchers?

Are you using the button flo + ftouchflo combo on a Trinity?

I know there's a million alpha cabs out there on for the htc cube but could you show me where I could get a copy of you're button flo cab?

Hi efrost!

There seems to be a bug in your RightLeftApp application launching gesture. It is perhaps not reading the commandline parameters correctly. I have put the same program with the same commandline parameters in RightLeftApp as well as DownUpApp commands. The DownUpApp works correctly whereas the RightLeftApp gives error.

damn... after installing this on my mogul for some reason when i go to remove program i dont see any more program there, and when i try to install anything it said unsuccessful? any idea wtf wrong with it?

i think i found a little serious bug.

my backlight timeout is 10 seconds, during the 10 seconds if i keep rolling,rolling, the backlight will off. i have no idea.....

why i get this? wether the system dones't responds when the finger rolling???

Exciting application!

The small logo is gone... the swiper more responsive... config the delay to 500 and now no more highlighting... scrolling is swift and smooth... and more sensitive to gesture... read the readme.txt got to understand more bout the app functionability... annoyance gone... depression gone...

This is the proper scrolling ability we're, or rather said, I'm looking at. Possibly target of immitators? It's an outstanding development anyway. Many people would love to have it with their touchscreens.

More to come for this exciting app? Includes Excel, please.

I was playing with V1.0 for almost a day. It works great. I have few questions/suggestions:

Is it possible to be able to customize the left/right/top/bottom area 2 size? In my particular case area 2 on top is tooo big, and often when scrolling I am launching application defined as up-down. The same time on right side area 2 is too small (for me), and I cannot launch the application sliding with finger when i carry the device in my right hand.

I am playing at present with Slither's cube, which includes your minimizer. I have feeling that after minimizing the Cube, or after waking up the device from sleeping mode, for a few seconds FTouchFlo is not responding. I am not sure this behaviour is comming from FTouchFlo or the Cube.

at present you cannot do that - it is simpossible with current version (and alpha versions too)

Only solution is soft-reset

I think I've fixed:
1. Device freezing.
2. Slash - Backslash problem in configuration file. You can put there anything you want and FTouchFlo will change all / to \.
3. Excluded programs: sometimes currently active application wasn't recognized and excluded.
4. User activity notification added. Before that when you're just scrolling, windows didn't know about your activities.

I'm going to upload FTouchFlo 1.1 (hotfix) in a few minutes.

P.S. I saw your questions, but I don't have time now to answer all of them...
so,
1. I am working on communication with transcriber. Hope it will be working soon.
2. It is not possible to stop FTouchFlo without reboot. Probably in the future... You can use Excluded: parameter in configuration to disable FTouchFlo for particular application.
3. Regarding WM2003. I don't have SDK, so I can't compile FTouchFlo for 2003. Sorry.
4. Correct Minimize application (which will not minimize Today :) ) you can find here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1597620&postcount=50).
5. If scrolling is too fast for you, just don't release your finger from the screen . You can control scrolling moving your finger. Try it!

In this case the AppCmdLine do not works - it should be << / >> but right now the program reads it as << \ >>

Note: With Slither's Cube it will work but not with parameters like /i; /l; etc.

The hotfix does not work on my device while version 1.0 works.

the docx file is a winword 2007 document file that serves as the help file. You don't have to copy it on your PPC for ftouchflo to work.

When I start Touchflo (1.1) on my X500, the screen goes black and I have to do a hard reset (soft reset won't bring it back to life).
So: major bug, not yet resolved. Otherwise: great project.

Hi efrost!

There seems to be a bug in your RightLeftApp application launching gesture. It is perhaps not reading the commandline parameters correctly. I have put the same program with the same commandline parameters in RightLeftApp as well as DownUpApp commands. The DownUpApp works correctly whereas the RightLeftApp gives error.

I made a command line screen rotate app, and it works on all directions except RightLeft....

Another bug (New in 1.1 - Didn't exist in 1.0):

When an application rotates the screen, FTF doesn't recognize the screen rotated and screws up the touch interface, you're unable to tap without it hitting the wrong place.

Try to rotate the screen with the normal screen rotate icon, and you'll see the bug happening.

btw efrost, if you only implemented a hotfix.. it should be 1.0a. A 0.1 increment usually means u added a feature.

it is a "most wanted" feature. They call it kinetic scrolling. It will be added soon. But I hope he focuses on the reported bugs first. Version 1.0 works flawlessly already for me though, I don't use the command lines anyway.

I have set PocketMusic.exe as exclueded programs, "Exclude:PocketMusic.exe"
but it seems not excluded, because the navbar and the soundbar doesn't work well. It can be moved, but it's kind of lag. The problem won't happened if i didn't activate FTouchFLO.

in other programs, FTouchFLO works like a charm~thanks for the great work.
1. I agree, PocketMusic makes problems. I have v5.0 and im unable to scroll the playlist with the touch feature. The sound bar is hard to control also...

i have spiced up my universal with most of the apps, from this site...

installed ur latest version and it works fine,

but the only app which i could not run in my universal is the Cube Launcher, mostly because i did not get the step by step instructions of how to use that app.

I run the version 1.00 file, i can see the 3 menu pages, but the buttons dont work.. i think cube launcher is still in its early stages.. i swipe my finger up to down, the menu pages minimizes and i get a blank screen.. then i have to press the red button to close the app.

Any suggestions....

i'm sad to report that like issues with the Atom, v1.1 still freezes the WM5 ipaq hx2495. after installation, turning on FTouchFlo starts the freeze. still have to rollback to using alpha4. :(

another question: new spb pocket plus 4 is out with integrated scroling in contacts, programs, and IE, i am not sure how to exclude pocket plus? or is it compitable with FTouchFlo? i ws not able to try both together as i had to uninstall after freezing & i just got pocket plus after that

I noticed in SPB Pocket Plus 4 there is an application called "smart scrolling" only for few applications. FTouchFLO have a scroll movement limited compared to spb....so.....
Can you implement in configuration.txt how long is scroll movement? I'm talking about lines scrolled by a single touch...
Is there any chance to have more smooth movement??

I also have a Mogul, I never installed this version because I figured it can only do wrong, Version 1.0 has been working perfectly, I assumed that 1.1 would only take thigns i the wrong direction. Try 1.0

also doesnt work on athena. 1.0 does though so i use that. only suggestions are like other side to have the amount of sliding determined by how long is ur gesture for scrolling. have it like it is in pocketcm. if u only slide finger half a inch it only scrolls a bit. if u slide ur finder a inch then it does more etc... make it as close to the real touchflo and iphone scrolling as possible.

I think you can just remove any shortcuts on the config file and it gives you full access to the scrolling
I think a lot of us actaully like the laucnhingfeatures, I use downup for the cube and updown to minimize, it's pretty awesome. I don't use left/right though.

Any chance we can get the option of disabling the launching feature? That way we could utilize one zone instead of two, making the entire screen "draggable". Let me know what you think. I personally don't use the launching functionality.

I downloaded the program for the At&t tilt, but it does not seem to work. I installed the program and I see the icon in programs, but nothing happens. The screen does not change or anything.

Its still the same. I even did a soft reset, but nothing. Can anyone help!!!

The fTouchFLO enables the WM6 to scroll with fingers on screen, instead of on the scroll bar. After the installation, you need to start the program. Then try scrolling with your finger.

BTW, doesn't Tilt already have TouchFLO built-in, less the TouchCube? Note that this fTouchFLO doesn't provide the TouchCube. It is only for finger scrolling.

I installed the 1.1 update and it doesnt work very well on my wizard(running tnt5) so went back to version 1 which works fine. 1.1 freezes the screen up so i could only use the softkeys and once i softreset and tryed again, the touch was all messed up, launching apps that i didnt even touch.scrolling didnt work either.

Thanks efrost for the program. I was using Ftouchflo alpha 4 and works perfectly. Then I switched to ver 1.1, and it failed. When I try to run the program, it gives me a scary blank screen with some lines. The machine is absolutly dead. The reset key doesn't response. I have to take the battery out to reset it. I tried ver 1.0 and it is the same. So, now i am back to Alpha 4.

I hope the future version will work again on my eten M600. ^_^

Beside this, may I give some suggestions?
It would be nice if the program can unload it-self the second time it is run.
This way, we can assign a button and activate it when ever we need. And, we can deactivate it when we try to write.

I like to ask for the "reverse" way. I personally don´t use the scrolling feature.
So i think it would be a good way to reanimate the ini string with "L" and "S".
Also for me it´s not really clear why there are 2 zones. Don´t need it.

Hi!

FTouchFlo 1.2 HOTFIX is now available! (see first post).

Fixed:
1. Fixed bug with memory allocation which for 99.99999% was a reason for devices freezing. To avoid possible huge problems (even hardreset might be required sometimes!) with your devices I would recommend uninstall FTouchFlo 1.0 and 1.1 if you have them installed.
2. To avoid changing '/' to '\' in gestures parameters you have to put parameter value in brackets:
[will be changed]: UpDownAppCmdLine:/Program files/123.exe
[will not be changed]:UpDownAppCmdLine:"/cmd_line_parameter"

Hi! Now it is for 100% bug in the code. Just based on my more than 10 years programming experience I can say that if somebody is telling me that problem might be in Windows or hardware, for sure problem is in application! :(

Anyway, this version is more stable than 1.0 and 1.1, so I hope that it'll work in most cases until I found the bug.

I've tried 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2 version on my trinity, and so far I've not had a single problem. Probably I've not tested it extensively, but so far it has been stable, no freezing yet.

Great app.

I have a hermes, never had a problem. I guess the problem is device/ROM specific.

Even in 1.2 the Right to left command line issue is not solved. But I admit freezes and functionality issues should be solved first. I use these command line switches with WKtask and I am able to switch between task, close/minimize them or rotate the screen easily.

After deinstall the previous version touchscreen is not working, need to softreset my device. After install the new version 1.2 the same. Always need first to softreset. But now it is working.;)

Just curiuous if any thought had been given to changing the zone layout. Instead of having the zones stacked, maybe it would be better to have them boxed with zone 2 on the perimeter and zone 1 in the middle. That way launching could be done by running your finger the entire length of the screen and scrolling could be done just by running your finger in the middle area. Thanks!

One last suggestion would be to enable specific scrolling, launching, scrolling and launching, or no functionality within apps. I know right now you can specify excluded apps, but maybe going a step further would be good because I can see times when I may want one, both, or no functionality enabled within an app.

Installerd version 1.2 on IPAQ HP rw6815 with Ialian ROM (it hasn't /Progrma File folder but /Programmi) and when I launch the app my hp freeze! And then I can only soft reset.
I hope to use it one day!
