i resently upgraded the phone form wm5 to wm6 (rogers rom) and now i cannot connect to my home wifi network. i was able to connect with using wm5. all other devices connect no problem but the htc does not connect.

it sees the wifi network and gets all the setting, i enter the password and then it just does nothing.. i click connect and nohting happens?

the wifi is using wpa2-psk with AES data encryption. is there a bug with wm6 wifi? is there a fix?

wifi works at work with wep encryption.

thx

I found there is a problem using passwords that contain characters other than A-Z, 0-9. You will have problems connecting if the password contains a "$".
