It's no secret Titan and Kaiser's LCD is unusable in outdoor daylight so I started making a collection of dark, lightweight themes that helps a bit. They are specificly designed to fit with HTC Home, download the ones you're interested in...

Last theme files and if anyone is interested in adding to the collection, I've attached a set of Photoshop templates and default ThemeGenCE TSK. Download ThemeGenCE from here (http://www.freewareppc.com/misc/themegence.shtml).

Nice set of themes!!! I really like the default black homescreen on my Hermes (I'm using one of JJ's Black ROM's), but these will add a little something extra to it.

EDIT: You missed out the "Lightning Lake" theme....any chance you can add it :)

I love these themes. Thanks for sharing. You did a really good job on these. I'm gonna put a few of these on my phone to cycle through. I currently use the htc default theme because of it's simplicity but I like these themes because they are simple and stylish at the same time. Once again, good job!

How about some baseball and football teams? that would be pretty cool. Even though my RAMS totally suck right now and my Dodgers choked pretty bad this year it would still be coo to have these themes with my team on it, depending wich season it is we could change teams.

I made the bars lighter for two reasons...One, so that the action screen stands out and two, to color match the icons in HTC Home. Download ThemeGenCE (http://www.codeppc.com/telechargements/themegence/themegence.htm), open any theme with it and modify the bars to your liking.

Ok I see you're a noob. The clock and icons is called HTC Home and it's a little more complicated to setup than a simple theme, but well worth the effort. Search for it, you'll find plenty of information and people willing to help you in those threads.

Search for "HTC Home Customizer" - that will allow you to download/select different icon sets for the home screen, the clock and the launcher icons. It will also give you the option to turn on the sixth tab (profiles).

I have a mogul, and your advice has been golden so far I appreciate it tremendously. I have everything up and running except for the color icons yet. I have the 6 buttons with the updated weather in my area, just a few more tweeks.

a couple of things, I want to make a playlist but audio manager is hard to do it in ( or I just dont have hte hang of it) can i make a list on my pc? its kinda hard on the phone.
and I need to get rid of those gay little icons below the htc home icons.

I have a TyTN II and I cant enjoy the themese :(

Everytime I extract the .tsk file to a folder and click it takes me to the HTC theme selection screen. But the theme does not appear in the list. I see the regular themes:

Yes my friend, it works on mine (HTC Hermes 200) just paste it into Windows folder and configuring from Today Setting (Start > Setting > Today (change the theme according to filename) )

Thats HTC Home its the cloock and the five Icons, but you'll also have to get HTC Home customizer so that you can give it that look.

It is also explained in the help file (extension .chm) which comes with ThemeGenCE zip file. But who read help file .............. ?
If you put the help file in the ThemeGenCE folder, you have contextual help by right clicking on most items in ThemeGenCE.

For simplification in ThemeGenCE I put gif extension in the TSK, because Windows Mobile (and also Windows Desktop) recognized image format whatever extension is.

So, if you use the tip I give you, put gif extension whatever your image is.
