Thanks to one of the BEST members on this forum, XENO1, I can fully sync both my MDAs. He worked with me for over a month and helped me to FLASH both my MDAs and then to resolve my ActiveSync problem. It wasn't a quick fix as we tried many things just to get AS to recognize my MDAs. Then when AS recognized my MDAs, AS recognized them as a Guest. Thus, I could not Sync my MDAs, but I could do all the other tasks.
To resolve the Guest issue and set up a Partnership: He finally told me to: 'Check and see of the registration key on my PC at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows CE Services and see whether a key named GuestOnly has a value of 1. If it does then change the value to 0 to allow you to setup a partnership.'
XENO1 also suggested to post this link to this website - http://www.pocketpcfaq.com/faqs/t-shootactivesync.htm where he believed that info actually came from although he actually found it in a post on some other forum that he can't seem to find again. They posted the link to it in there post though, that's how he found it. It seems to be a pretty in depth AS troubleshooter though. He wishes he would have found that site sooner, it would have been very useful. He was a lifesaver and really worked with me.
That worked like a charm. You don't know how happy and appreciative I am that he found a solution to my 13 month problem. I tried everything else that was posted on this forum and other forums.
So if anyone else is having a GUEST problem with AS, just try this.
Thank you XENO1 and a big thank you to all the others on this forum who do take the time to try and help each other.
