Hey everyone, I have been looking around to find an adapter that will allow you to charge the device, and has a plug(s) that allows for an external mic and ear phones. I have seen the ones that allow for just the 3.5 for music but don't have another plug for a mic input... Or they have a built in mic which will not work for me. The reason for this is so I can put it in my motorcycle helmet. I need to be able to attach a wind resistant mic. Also want to use my ear buds so I can actually hear people and music. Any ideas? Thanks!
John
Try www.Expansys.com they have some good accessories for the TyTN II

I looked on expansys already. Did not find anything on their site. The closest thing I could find is this: http://www.semsons.com/2miusband3st.html
Any other ideas?

I don't think there is currently anything that will do what you want out of the box. You are probably going to have to get a soldering iron out and come up with a homebrew solution. You could wire up your wind resistant mic to replace the built in mic in either the standard headset or an adaptor. You are still going to need something like 11pin to 5&6pin (http://www.expansys.com/p.aspx?i=148544) or 3in1 (http://www.expansys.com/p.aspx?i=144681) adaptor to allow charging and audio/mic.

You can use the y-cable and stereo headphones w/ built in mic from the AT&T 8525 to do what you're asking.
