well ive just got a o2 exec locked to o2,now ive been looking to see how i go about getting it unlocked and running mobile6,how do i go about it the easy way as iam all new to this rom thing.cheers all

Hmmmm your is locked? Mine never was....

Ok never mind. all you need is in the wiki (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Universal) and in particular This page for removing the Sim Lock (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Uni_Simlock_by_Buzz_and_team).

Have fun with your Exec. it's a wicked bit of kit.

i'm a noob 2 but i just dl active sync 4.5 then got jwrites latest rom, pluged my mda into the cpu and excuted jwrites rom, waited a few min a blam, my phone has been my best friend. My wife wants me to do her mda pro now, thats how good it is. ohh backup your contacts and old rom i didn't but i don't care now hahhaha. goodluck

Yes.

Unlock it, then flash with the WM6 rom of your choice.
Read and inwardly digest from the links in my above post and you'll be fine.
If you think it's all above your head or your too scared to do it then either leave alone or find someone near to you that's technically minded to help.

right i think ive done it...
put on jwrites rom its mint took a bit to do but its on and working,one thing though its very slow takes ages to open up apps.could just be me,but hats off to all u guys on here.thanks and i will recommend this website to others.:D :D
