View Full Version : why jbed 20070802 do not work on my device with locale other than english(*)

it exit itself when opening apps. but english locale works fine. is there away to hack this ?thanks .

it maybe coz it doez nt have the mui file for dat locale eg it comez with jbed.exe.0409.mui which iz 4 english maybe u need other jbed.exe.xxx.mui

I have tried to rename the file to my localization file but it does not work.

What locales are you using? As has been pointed out in the MIDlet Bible, Jbed, generally, requires ANY Western locales - not necessarily English (it can be Finnish, Swedish, Estonian etc - this is what I've tested them with).
The situation is different with for example Slavic (Slovakian etc) locales.

I have the same problem with Cloudyfa's Jbed, but what puzzles me is that i had the problem with out-of-the-box JBlend manager. How can HTC ship my Kaiser like this ?

you may need hard reset to see if jbend works.

You're referring to Jbed coming on the Kaiser, or Jblend, which isn't a preinstalled, OEM app on the Kaiser?

Yup, that's Jbed, not Jblend; this is why I asked, just to be absolutely sure.
