New app need some help...

I downloaded a new app called HTC home plugin for WM6. It has a option to have weather show up. Has anyone used this and know how the weather works or can someone try and figure this out for me. heres the link to the app. Thanks for the help

Well there are many scientist all around the world trying to figure out how the weather works.
They fire rockets high in to the atmosphere and launch balloons with sensors to collect data.
Then they use supercomputers to model the weather based on the data collected and try to predict / analyze the behavior of the planet.

Seriously though:
1st you need an internet connection on your phone / PDA. Then you select the tab with the picture of the sun on it, and click in the top line of the plugin. A list of cities world wide will open and you can select your location. The plugin then will download the forecast for that location.
By clicking on the plugin now you can switch it showing today info and info for the entire week.

super thanks....but why doesnt it work with the normal edge data connection? how come only with the Wifi. is there a simple way to fix that. thanks

Strange. For me it does work with EDGE. Maybe your EDGE connection is not configured under 'Internet' or you need to go to settings->connections->connections->advanced->network selection and change both drop-down lists to 'My ISP'.

It won't work over a proxy connection. There's a patched version that works over Tmobile's EDGE, but even that won't work on a proxy connection.

That software is EVERYWHERE on this forum. Look around a bit and you'll find out more info about it. :-)
