after a long time, i have speed!

Ever since I had the Herm100, purchased in late June I had had very slow speeds on the www. Speed in my home area (11214) of no more then 175kbps, I have complained to att each month since switching to the 3G also in June and they have been pretty good. I have had 50% off each month I complained and finally today I notice the 3G on the top of the screen :O
So I'm getting between 765-920 at the moment! not too shaby.
I do have one question tho...

Does heavy cloud cover with min amount of rain proved better signals for cell phones?

I would suggest to those who don't have good speed to make polite complaints to your carrier. The results do eventually happen. :)

I don't believe that rain clouds affect cell phone signals too much. I'm sure that it does, but it is negligible. The waves aren't that wide a frequency to bounce off the clouds like shortwave, which bounces of a completely different layer of the atmosphere.
