If you disable the connect through USB option in ActiveSync, and then put the SPV in bootloader. Then flash it with a AKU2.2 ROM (Any will do including PV temp), then follow this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=310452.

Hold the Camera button, and insert the stylus into the larger of two holes on the edge of the SPV with the power connector.

You must enter the bootloader (three colour screen), Then set ActiveSync to not connect through USB (ActiveSync->Settings->connection Settings), Plug the phone into your computer through USB, Then run any of the RUU's from any Part One of here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=308755.

Using the AKU2.2 ROM Update Utility, you should get a basic WM5 ROM. You MUST flash an AKU2.2 ROM before you flash a WM6 (AKU3.5) ROM.

ftp://ftp.xda-developers.com/Uploads/Prophet/Prophet-roms/Original-Shipped-ROMs/OrangeUK/
will this do????
Can I directly install AKU 2.20 after downloading or will I have to do anything more like putting some file in boot loader which u just said???

I dont want WM 6 anymore plz just advice in steps what I should do to get my phone up and running..............

Put the phone in bootloader, change the active sync settings, and then run the upgrade program!
Good Luck!

It will do no harm, and there is a high chance it will work.
The RUU is fairly self explanatory-Double click on it and do what it says. The battery charge level is not a problem, so long as there is some charge.

Glad to hear it :)

If you now feel experienced enough to upgrade properly, read this thread very carefully http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=310452 (or at least the first post) and then this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=308755

Finally I have been able to upgrade to WM 6.0 using PDAViet Rom 4.0.0.0.5 and its working like charm. I checked everything including IR Bluetooth WIFI all are working fine no problem at all.
Battery consumption rate is a bit high but not alarmingly high.
Thanks Boss without your advice it would not have been possible at all
