So I lost the ability to sync in vista :confused: , versions 1 , 2 , & 3 worked well final killed the sync. e.g. the computer has no clue the phone is even there...no beeping, no device center, etc. Xp active sync 4.5 works fine albit slowly though on the same computer (tri-boot). Anyone else having problems? Dutty you're the bomb thank you for all the wonderful enlightment and time you've spent helping us in the forums :-)

Is this true?? I only have vista, so I have to be careful of what to install and what not to install

bugs/issues/concerns:

in programs screen - device hangs when scrolling too fast.
edit: found that in advanced configurations, if cleartype is disabled, programs screen wont hang when scrolling

battery icon - % always rounded up (by 10s), which isn't good because it makes me think it has more power than it really does. I'd rather it round down (by the 10)




suggestions:

implement option that allows you to set balloon pop-up of "connecting to: media net" to permanently hide...maybe an animation on the 3G icon can let you know its attempting to connect, instead.

allow mapping of the left button (default calendar) to rotate screen.

remove the game bubble breaker :D

HTC action screen icon?

Make xT9 optional? :D

Allow HTC Audio manager to play music on Home screen instead of Windows Media?
edit: can be done through KaiserTweak app

Main battery recharging state- change blue to green?



I know I'm requesting a lot, but those changes along with your future fixes/additions will make this my absolute 100% ideal device.

I have an Att Tilt and everything seems to be working fine over here...loving this ROM...very smooth...sms, mms, gps, 3G, wifi everything is working smooth...thanks again dutty...

for some reason my A and O button on the keyboard isnt functioning properly. Instead of just typing the letter it types the letter and highlights it, so the next letter you type replaces the A and O. Is this just me? or has it happend to anybody else?

have you found a fix for this problem. I am having the same issue. In fact it is a problem with the A, Q, U, L, O AND THE Z. It also wont do caps.

I think that's the XT9 settings. You will see a little icon in top, you better disable it, see this thread few pages back!

i flashed the rom Dutty_s_hybrid_Rom_Build_18533 Final Lite version

but i did not see anything real faster than helmi_c's big storage rom i use till now.

but there are some apps new in this rom that realy liked theme:)

some bugs i find

there is no way to change slide sound

there is no way to check-uncheck usb ac

the right soft key after install softkey app, change aytomatic and disapears the default option (and there is nowhere else the app shortcut..)and replaced from contacts :confused: and the icon of softkey app disapear too:eek:

in open and close keyboard the screen (with no today plugins on ) seems to delay a bit ..

by the way good job duty,it needs little work more to be ready;)

Its the latest Build 18533.0.7.0 with CE OS 5.2.1978 based on helmi_C pre-released rom.

COngratulations, its a great rom, i just flashed it and was going through it. everything else works fine except the WLAN wont stay ON. I turn it on from the com manager and it detects the access point. then after 3 seconds it turns off all by itself.. please help guruuuu's

Perhaps the lack of the USB charging option is due to the new Build 18533.0.7.0 . There is no option in the registry so I suppose the os handles this differently.

Love the final....good work dutty. Just a suggestion. I would have ran through the kaisertweak options to modify the registry to turn off the fast sleep mode and up the file cache because it seems a little sluggish until i modified them.....

other than that good work. Much better than the beta's

I see that Schap's "Advanced Configuration Settings" is included in this ROM ... anyone using it? Does it play nice with Kaiser? I have been using Kaiser Tweak, but wondering if I need to anymore.

1) Comm manager doesnt work.. Keep clickin, wont do anything.
2) bluetooth doesnt work.. hangs the whole thing. you can goto today screen from start only.
3) wifi is not stable and keeps disconnecting.

I don't know if this is specific to this rom, but this is the rom I'm using.

I've set my phone to the correct time zone (Mountain Time, -7 GMT), I have also set the option to automatically update time.

It seems no matter what time zone I've tried (Arizona, Dener, all -7 GMT) my text messages are stamped exactly one hour earlier no matter what I do.

I'm on AT&T 3G network, receiving texts from multiple people on various networks, always stamped one hour behind when I go to read them.

Anyone know how to fix this?

the comm manager doesnt even show up in running programs list. m busted right now dunno what to do. and the rapis share doesnt work for me and no other place to download. i got this one from 4share.com via a link submitted by some one. is it possible to have a page in the forums where all the roms and everything is listed. so that we have one page to download all ;)

I find Schap's Advanced Configuration Settings and KaiserTweak very usefull applications and 2 of the must have tools for my Kaiser

you might want to disable or uninstall the xT9 and also apply the ATT Tilt keyboard fix located in dutty's list of cab sticky in the regular kaiser forum...

i have the full version and i'm able to charge while connected to usb...just curious as to why someone would want to turn this option off...

automatic change time is the culprit for this I think. DST was suppose to happen last weekend? Sounds kindof odd with the text messages only. Try looking for the option to turn off automatic change timezone and see if it works.

I have flashed the final and am not seeing any of these issues currently.

Comm manager launches from HTC home plug with no problem, and let's me enable or disable anything I want.

Bluetooth is not something I use a lot, however I fired up the dongle and connected to my laptop. Seems fine.

WiFi is the same story, connected to my works wirless router on our "private" cable modem for the office (so we can play and not use the company network LOL)

Not saying you guys are not having these issues, but I am not sure it is the ROM exactly.

Did you install any apps right after the flash that could be impacting these things?

Just installed the final Rom and now activesync internet passthru is no longer working it was working before i installed this ROM. I have tried disabling advanced network in the setting and tried the reg tweak on my XP workstation. Still No go. There must be a registry setting some where on my ATT Tilt. Any Ideas?

this rom is like 6 months old...he has a brand new on which is wm6.1 and os 209 which is the new att build....much more functions in wm6.1
