Hello everyone. I have a Cingular 8125. I would like to know why when i try to cid unlock my phone, enablerapi does not do anything (restart my phone), and the lokiwiz.bat can not see my phone, even though everything else. Does it mean that my phone is already CID unlocked? Also, when i try to do it without the cid unlocker, my activesync connection shuts off after 30 seconds, and my phone needs to be reflashed. I baught the phone used off of ebay. It came with the original cingular ROM. I am trying to get WM6 on it.

Well TIA,

Before playing with CID unlocking procedure, do you know what are you doing?? Why do you want to unlock your CID?? Do you have G3 or G4 device?? Is the ROM safe for your device generation??

People... read. Otherwise you will brick your device.

I was involved in a small issue where lokiwiz wouldn't see my device, and it turned out to be a firewall. I was using my corporate laptop and they have some stupid crappy sygate firewall on there and I am unable to disable it or turn it off (even though I have "Administrative" rights). When I took it home to my home PC that was basically a sparkling clean install of Windows XP x64, everything worked as the directions said that it would.

I have the same problem. I bought a T-Mobile MDA from ebay and it has the 2.26 OS. I've been trying to install the new wm6 on the phone, but right before the update process starts, the active sync disconnects and the screen displays the colors. I've been tring this for months but been failing. I honestly need some help so if there is anyone out there who knows the solution to my problem, please help me.

Your phone is not CID unlocked,to verify if it's CID locked or unlocked, download the WST tool and run the 'CID Action' button to verify.

Cheers :)
