What cant i CID unlock?

ello everyone. I have a Cingular 8125. I would like to know why when i try to cid unlock my phone, enablerapi does not do anything (restart my phone), and the lokiwiz.bat can not see my phone, even though everything else. Does it mean that my phone is already CID unlocked? Also, when i try to do it without the cid unlocker, my activesync connection shuts off after 30 seconds, and my phone needs to be reflashed. I baught the phone used off of ebay. It came with the original cingular ROM. I am trying to get WM6 on it. maybe i should use lokiwiz 0.3 instead of 0.2?

What version DOC chip is of your phone G3 or G4 ? What's the IPL/SPL...? of your phone.Download WST tool and run it to determine the DOC chip version of the phone and check the CID Action to verify the CID locked/unlocked status of the phone.
secondly you have not copy and executed the the EnableRapi.cab correctly in your phone.Read the guide to use lokiwiz02b correctly and do the procedure.

its a g3. i just retried and ran the button_rom and now have ipl 1.01 and spl 2.25.

Read Dr. P's sticky. It will tell you what to do EXACTLY. Read it slowly and carefully. Your answer is in there.

I say this, not to be a brat, but to explain that the stickies here are very detailed. They tell you what you need to do and why and how. The motto here at xda is READ, Read, read. Anything you do, you do at your own risk. So get to know all about your device, how it works, why you do certain steps...it will save you from having a very expensive paperweight.

And yes, I could answer you without being so cryptic, but as I said, your answer is in the tut that is stickied...and that really IS the best way to learn about your device.

guys i know. i have read that a zillion times. the problem is is that my SPl doesnt want to go to 1.x. it stays at 2.25. how do i get it down?

Well,If you say you have read it million times then,sry,you didn't read it carefully,it's very clearly mentioned there in the guide that if it doesn't get down to both IPL/SPL 1.05,try to flash Button's Rom 1.05 a couple of times more,till it gets both IPL/SPL 1.xx,ok :D So flash button's 1.05 a few times more,it sometimes requires a littlw more tries.

7 times already. nothing still spl 2.25. should i give up?

I have same problem. It goes 98% when i run 1.05 rom and it reports error and I have to reload original rom (2.25 from htc site). I read some more and one guy said it works fine if you downgrade from 2.25 to 1.8 and then unlock. However, I have tried to downgrade but it reports that it is already upgraded.

In Dr. P's sticky, I believe it gives an alternate download rom so that in the event that Button's doesn't work, then use the alternate...double checked and YES IT IS...again, read the sticky point by point, carefully...

Please, we cannot spoon feed you. You need to learn about your device and understand it BEFORE attempting any fixes/customizations. We are not liable for any bricks, what you do, you do at your own risk...so understanding the device is the first and best step, from there you can get your device customizing freak on.

yea the xda mini s one. i tried it as well. well i do it again... thx. i(btw i reflashed THE BUTTON ROM 17 times) im not kidding.

Do a soft reset of your phone,it might work,otherwise ,reboot your pc,disable any anti virus and firewall,get your phone into bootloaders,reconnect it to pc,when usb appears at the bottom pf bootloaders screen,reflash Button's 1.05

Are you sure you have a G3 device?? I have not known of this much trouble, except on G4's (they're a whole different animal). Have you gone point by point explicitly?? Could you have missed a step somewhere? Did you make sure that the enable_rapi was done? I'm stretching here...I can't imagine why you are having these issues. I've CID/SIM unlocked at least 5 different wizards using Dr. P's tut, without any issue at all...so I am truly stumped.
