Hard-SPL And Soft-Spl here

hey))) as promised, the Soft-SPL and Hard-SPL

1. Soft SPL - loaded to ram temporarily, erased after reboot, use it to flash HardSPL or tested working roms.
2. Hard SPL - A version which is flashed to rom.

So, what`s this?

1. Based on oxygen spl, but
1. Doesn`t check CID
2. KeyCard security is reset
3. Allows to flash unsigned (custom) nbh files.

Instructions:

1. Copy spl.nb, spl.lnk and jumpspl.exe to the root of device, hold camera and launch spl.lnk - you`ll see the white screen
2. Connect USB to pc
3. From the flasher folder run ROMUpdateUtility.exe and follow instructions to flash the Hard-SPL if needed. or you can flash *ANY* oxygen rom
4. After flashing Hard-Spl, to avoid reflashing, use
nbhextract ruu_signed.nbh
with any official update.it will dump the nbh. you`ll see some file like 00_OS.nb0 or 04_OS.nb0, any *_OS.nb0
use Htc Rom Tool (can be found on forum) and go to build rom, select OXYGEN, use 1.0.000.0 version, and go to system box, and press "..."
Load your os.nb0 and press build rom. then you can use this nbh to flash os. just replace original nbh file within updater directory.



p.s. sorry, have problems with wm6 - no info when i`ll finish it

No...I didn't pass. Phone has white screen, when I run RomUpdateutility.exe before flashing shows me error.

my phone is fully unlocked
i soft-spl my orange c100(htc 310) and when i tried to hard-spl it just crashed wile writing the new spl
now i am stuck at tri-color boot screen

just kidding, but tell me sp3dev, when you disasm the SPL; are you actually rebasing the file, or just going at it by trial and error... because it shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to hack up a Hard-SPL and SSPL.

Also... really you should only call it Hard-SPL if it prevents itself from being overwritten, otherwise it's just a USPL... not that I particularly mind.

meh, since when is rebasing such an issue... dumprom tells you the start address of the SPL and even produces a full PE EXE ready to be disassembled by one click in IDA.

no,you needn't to change the SPL any more!
it's OK,you can flash to wm6 6.1 or 5.0.

ok, i tried it a couple of times, and i discoverd that my phone reboots if i don't click the continue button form the spl screen very fast... and i managed to enter the hard spl white screen only another problem occured... after i connected my phone to my pc, (working with windows vista x64) the operanting sistem did not recognized the device...

I have exactly the same problem you had (no white screen) and can't manage to sort this out. I also have an SPV C100.

i still have this problem, when i try to run SPL.lnk from the normal phone file explorer, the phone just reboots and when i try to run it from Total Commander it just shows me a JumpSPL screen, " we take no responssibility for any damage... and so on" and a continue button... after i press the continue button the phone returns back into the total commander and then the screens turns to black... the only way i can turn it back on is by deconnecting the battery and connecting it back again... and once i managed to enter the white screen but the phone vibrated and after i connected the phone to the pc my vista operating sistem just told me that it can't recognize the device...

cant figure how to get the white screen, after the camera hold and the power button to enable it. its too fast to get to the continue button.

Anyway what key is the continue button the one next over the Home button?

I get alway the erros msg image file corrup if i try to flash and the device reboots at 4-6%

any idas?

ok. may it works when you do it like this:
1. restart your phone
2. Copy spl.nb, spl.lnk and jumpspl.exe to the root of device
3. restart phone, don't connect to your PC!
4. open total commander, hold camera button and launch spl.lnk

5. Do you see a white screen? if yes proceed if not it has no
point proceeding, flashing will fail anyway!
6. Now connect your phone to your pc using the usb cable
7. From the flasher folder run ROMUpdateUtility.exe and follow
instructions to flash the Hard-SPL
8. After flashing Hard-Spl, to avoid reflashing, use always use
flasher from hard spl and rename the desired rom to flash to
RUU_signed.nbh

Hope this will finaly work for you!

Please help. How can I run your Soft SPL from bootloader? my oxygen is dead. It can only get to bootloader mode. I messed it up when I tried to flash WM6.1 and my computer accidently shut down. I've been trying to flash other ROMs posted here, but they all reset at 4%.

I copied the 3 files spl.nb, spl.lnk and jumpspl.exe...I hold the camera button at the spl.lnk...I wait...1 minute...2minutes...but nothing happens.

I just have to hold the camera button or I have to open the spl.lnk too?
