Connection Setup Problem

I keep getting this message everytime I boot my HTC. "The operator does not exist in the database. Please contact your operator for the connection settings.

Connection Setup will redirect you to the Connection screen."

I click hide at the bottom and it takes me to Connections: My ISP and My Work Network.

Also if I go to Programs---> Connections---> Connection Setup ICON, it takes me to where I need to choose my country and Operator. At this point I'm stuck because there is no Canada and I want to know if this is what I have to do to fix this problem.

Please let me know if there is a way around this.

EDIT: i fixed the problem. go to Settings --> Connections --> Connection Setup ICON then select--> click menu and uncheck "Enable Auto Configuration"
