View Full Version : Problems downloading WM 6 update

Hi
I bought my Treo 750 WM5 smartphone from Luzerntech.com.
This device happens to be a Vodafone Treo 750v in Generic case and with Generic (RWG)firmware.
Now when trying to download the WM6 generic update, I receive an error msg:
* We're sorry, but that serial number is not valid. Please note that serial numbers do not contain the letters I, O, S or Z. If a character appears to be the letter O, please use the number zero.

However, download of the 750v update is possible.
But I want the Generic update, as I'm not subscribed to Vodafone, and I prefer an unbranded phone!
Where/how can I get the update?

haha, the same thing happens to me. I just download the file from another site, and uprating it to WM6 without any problem.

Where did you get the file? German Language version? Can you forward me a link, please?
