You got a G4 device,better not download T-Mobile 2.26 Rom and flash it to your device,it'll certainly 'BRICK' your phone as it includes IPL/SPL 2.26,which is meant for G3 devices. IPL/SPL 2.26 are DOC chip 2.xx.xxx G3 Bootloaders,where as your device has DOC chip 2.xx.xxx1 G4 Bootloaders,see the difference ?,if you flash a G3 IPL/SPL 2.xx.xxx to your phone with IPL/SPL 2.xx.xxx1 G4 device,it will certainly Brick the phone.
Secondly, a G4 device cannot be CID unlocked like a G3 device,infect never try to CID unlock your phone. If you want to upgrade there's a method for upgrading a G4 device called 'SoftSPL & HardSPL'
Read the stickies in the G4 forum for this method.

That t-mobile link doesn't work... It goes to the phones for sale when you try to download. Anyone currently have the usa t-mobile rom available? Pease pm me. Thanks- Bryan

The T-Mobile ROM will not brick your G4. It has both the G3 and the G4 IPL/SPL files and will install the appropriate ones. Try the wizard wiki, you may be able to find a download link for it there. I just checked all of the sites that I have bookmarked that would have it but didn't find it, sorry.

that links works well, but you need valid T-mobile USA phone # (or guess, get any one phone is ok)
