WIZARD/KJAM ROM downgrade

I own an I-mate Kjam with an official ROM 2.18.9.1 ITA. The I-mate doesn't want to upgrade further the ROM of this device, so I decide to flash the PPC with an cooked ROM.
To do this my intention was to downgrade to the first version of the ROM, 1.xx.x.x and then perform the CID unlock procedure to install an english ROM. Unfortunatly the installed ROM doesn't allow to do this. The I-mate support said that it is not possible to downgrade the ROM from that version.

Is it possible to performe the downgrade procedure in a different manner?

How are you trying to downgrade to IPL/SPL 1.xx ?

It seems to be the same procedure described by me. The problem is that is not possible to execute the downgrade. The CID unlock procedure described in the thread works only with older ROM version. However the link ftp://xda:xda@ftp.xda-developers.com..._11210_WWE.exe is not working.
Do you have any suggestion to help me?

How is possible to understand if my device has aku2 ROM?
Well, as you are at present using Official Rom 2.18.9.1,it's a AKU 2 version but if it was Official Rom 1.18.9.1,it wud have been a AKU 1 version, ok :)

Now,First post the vital data of your phone,give all the details of your phone:-

1.IPL....?, SPL...?,it'll determine the DOC chip version of your phone,whether it's a G3 or G4 device,cuz unlocking and upgrading method is totally different for both the devices.
Download the WST tool and run it,post the report it generates to verify the DOC chip version of your phone.
Only after the DOC chip verification,the correct procedure can be advised ,ok

YUP !!!
No doubt it's a G3 device with IPL/SPL 2.18 Bootloaders a AKU 2 Rom version 2.18.

The file custom__ruu_wizard_1050412_wwe_101_11210_wwe.exe is not and rar archive but it is an executive file, it isn't possible to extract the file romupdateutility_wizard_noid.exe, as explained in the thread.

Besides this file is an wwe ROM file and mine ROM is italian ROM so, I'm not sure, but it couldn't work.

Are youy sure that this procedure is the correct one?

The custom__ruu_wizard_1050412_wwe_101_11210_wwe.exe is a custom build Rom,it already contains 'romupdateutility_wizard_noid.exe' in it,there's no need to extract and replace the Ruu_NoID,thats why it's recommended to downgrade the IPL/SPL 1.xx
But if you still want to extract it,you can do it with WinRAR utility,just right click the Exe file and select 'extract file' it'll extract it.
