"New SMS" Softkey custom.

Hi,

Apologies if this has already been covered in previous threads, however I have spent hours searching for an answer to no avail.

I am using Dopod 838 Pro with WM6 P. Unfortunately my version does not have today screen softkey customisation option. I need my LSK to action "New SMS". Unfortunately neither "Soft Key" app nor SKTools appear to work. "Soft Key" has the following error: The file 'tnsms' cannot be opened...". SKTools only assigns shortcuts or actual programs & as to which is responsible for New SMS function I am unaware of. :(

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!!!

It's a Control panel and lets you remap the Left Soft Key to NEW and whatever subitems you'd like.
Or install Schap's Advanded Configuration Tool and it installs these shortcuts for you to use.

Or simply drop this missing tnsms file into your /windows folder.
