TyTN II SAP

Hi,

The new TyTN looks good but does anyone know if the SIM Access Profile works with the Mercedes Bluetooth module?
The only thing that stopped me getting the original TyTN was that it didn't work in my car so it would be nice to know if it is fixed now. If not then I guess I will have to go for the Nokia E90 but I would like a touch screen.

Hi there, the TyTn II will not pair with the Mercedes SAP 'puck'. It is necessary to purchase the HFP puck from MB (this will fit to the plug inside the center arm-rest).
The handset will now pair with the Comand unit, however to enable the contact list transfer it is necessary to purchase a small program from 'jetware.com'; when this is downloaded to the handset the complete contact list (including numbers on the sim card) will be seen on the cars display.
