HELP, DEVICE LOCKED OUT when PASSWORD DOESN't RESPOND

HELP!!!! i'm COMPLETELY LOCKED OUT OF MY PHONE when i have a password set, and the password doesn't respond after i type it and say tap unlock............................................ is there way around that?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Thanks

i just FLASHED it with the power and camera in that funky color looking screen, and ran the flash software, it wiped it out, but it worked......I learned something!! YAY
