Change of WM language possible without major effects?

Hi guys, i hate to make new threads but i really couldnt find this answer.

If i purchase a Chinese WM5 Treo 750v here in China and later want to install English WM6 on it, will there be any major problems?

Will there for example be any problems for future offical upgrades or third party programs when changing the OS language?
