I tried translating the site, but had no success. I assume that this ROM is compatible with the tilt keyboard fix, right?

does it solve the "kaiser freezes issue after a call" problem?
Thanks

It looks like a fake ROM version. The information is almost the same as HTC's ROM 1.56.405.5
The only different is Connection Setup becomes Network Wizard.

I doubt that very much, the ROM as it reads is a shipped rom; a preloaded rom on DOPODASIA devices, so lets not jump into conclusions, I tested the rom and found it very much similar to the original rom of HTC originally loaded to my device with no worldcard, network wizard which is locallized to the asian nations (cab to update it to include all regions is available).
And the rom is a newer build than the HTC's, But not newer than Dutty's.

Not necessarily. This is the version of HTC "build" (as opposed to CE or WM) and it may very well be different from the generic ROM installed on non-branded, unlocked TyTN IIs. The version may indicate different set or different versions of installed applications or drivers, i.e. the extROM version on older devices.

So you have a "Dopod". That's where this ROM came from. Unlocked Kaiser's in Europe and Middle East are sold as TyTN II, with a different ROM. Based on the same build of WM6 though.

This new ROM 1.81.707.0 and my ROM 1.56.405.5 have the same ROM date. (08/28/07)
Is that correct or is there no difference between this ROMs?

I have not seen much difference from testing the rom other than what I've said eariler.
And I think having the rom available is good to help people wanting to revert back to their official rom.

Check around for the HTC Network Wizard. It'll set up everything for you.

Why don't you delete the current mobile device from activesync, and during the setup wizard tick accept connection "Allow wireless data connections(.....)

TyTN II are called also Tilt in USA. Tilt (AT&T) have no front camera, so no videoconference... So you can find two ROMs type, one for general TyTN II and another one for AT&T hardware... your kaiser seems a TyTN II, so look for ROMs not for AT&T...
Can you dump it your ROM and upload somewhere... info on how to here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=334680
Thanks.

Hi Jcespi2005! Thank you so much for your reply clarifying my question. Now I know to look for Kaiser ROMs.
I will try to figure out how to dump my ROM and upload somewhere. Please give me a few days. I hope someone can help produce cooked ROMs for Chinese Traditional as well, as I could not find a reliable means of inputing Chinese text (i.e., using 3rd party programs such as CJStar) with the English ROM.

Hmm, tried that on my Asian TyTN II but it still shows only the Asian carriers.
Does it need a soft reset afterwards or some other trick?
Thanks
